Pirates in Runescape and 103’s history have faced a lot of adversity and challenges. One-Eyed Hector, Rabid Jack, and the Skull pirates are some of the few pirates in history who had faced hardship. Dangers, defeat and deaths are only a few of the characteristics that describe many of the pirates’ life. Why is it so? After all, many pirates did not choose this life, but rather grew up in it, they are human and have feelings, emotions and relationships to take care for. In this World Event, the Kingdoms and Empires in the 103 community will explore the decisions and motives that drives pirates and their way of life…
REPORT TO ALL KINGDOMS AND EMPIRES:
Pirates have been observed raiding and plundering coastal villages in Gielinor. They don't seem to have an end-goal, but rather, go about their pirate business. They have, however, been very successful in their raids, and have managed to enslave some inhabitants from various coastal villages - in all Kingdoms and Empires.
How are they so effective?
From the pirates that are defeated, initial reports indicate that do not share any set of characteristics. There are eastern pirates, gnome pirates, fremennik pirates and many more. The only thing they have in common is this: when escaping from a battle, they all return towards the same direction, which is a large, and dark storm and cloud spot moving slowly around the sea.
Will your Kingdom and Empire protect these small villages, or will these pirates roam freely, continuously enslaving citizens and regular people?
