Some Notes and Thoughts, 21/04/19 contd.:
Listing everything in just price order may be good for some players, but someone looking for specific items may find it difficult to find in this type of list.
Also, if say someone wants to find all items and prices for a specific line (e.g. xmas 2017 or beach 2016), then a list in just value order only makes this difficult.
Dropping everything under 1m also presents problems.
If something was at 500k for some time then rises to say 4m or 5m, how do you get to know that you should have added it 3 months ago when it topped 1m? OK, dropping something that goes below 1m is easy, but what if it goes above 1m in a few months time?
And what about someone who wants to see everything for one line (such as the Rainbow line) and some have been dropped because they are below 1m?
The current listing format organised by lines, as now, should cater for most players' requirements.
By adding the list of top items by value at 20m and up (as per my last 3 full lists) should make it easier for rich players only interested in the high value items.
Maybe a page 1 list of everything in alphabetical order, with first date of issue and cross-reference to the line it is priced in, would be a good addition.
Regarding the Mimic line:
Yes, they are now permanently available. I think that now, they should really be classed in the same group as Third Age Druidic – they have a similar rarity and a very low drop rate for new ones entering the game each year.
However, they were originally TH items. There is continuing demand by some players to see Mimic line prices – 2 were updated this time around.
So I think we should keep listing and pricing them. (If we do not, who will?)
Over 400 discontinued items have been issued. Most of them are rarer than a Santa Hat.
Daily trading volumes now give a good indication of true rarity.
