Hey there,

I’ve noticed your Clan isn’t on the Main Ladder Rankings yet; which is a bit of a lost opportunity for getting more experience in wars, developing your Clan and integrating with the broader Clan community. The way it works is fairly simple. You simply fight a higher ranked Clan for their rank – you guys negotiate the terms. The Clan that wins gets the rank; and it doesn’t get fairer than that.

The Ladder has been around since the very early stages of the Community; a guesstimate is around 2006. Over the 5 years it’s been the centre of reference to which Clans are emerging and growing in dominance, and a brilliant training ground for genuine private wars you may have in the future. It’s also really good for meeting new Clans and developing good relationships and allies across the community :) .

I’ve left you a copy of our application at the bottom of this post. Post here in the ladder thread and the threadholder should get back to you soon.

Sup. Just trying to get 99wc. I also had an idea.

What if we made like a 'joke thread' under the sixth realm clan name. This way, it will mean we can have a thread thats frequently updated (without the need for bumping).

Obvisouly, this would mean people could enjoy hilarious jokes, but also bring awarness to the clan and help recruit more members (if thats a good thing). Players could be attracted by the number of good jokes (hopefully), but also be exposed to the clan name and that enough might drive up recruitment. Therefore, the thread could earn not only prestige for the clan but also a following.

Possibble problems:

- Jokes that go against the ethos of the clan could be posted under the 'sixth realm' name, and this could reflect negativly upon us. (However with modearation of the thread im sure the risk would be very minimal)

- A thread of this kind may not be legitimant on the Rs forums and so would obvisouly be impossibble. However this could be achieved by disgusing the real meaning of the thread, and not openly stating it as a place for jokes. This would be as simple as calling it something like 'recruitment SR' and clan members simple flood it with jokes.

- Someone would have to initally set up the thread and put time into managing it, but looking at the high quality too which the current threads have been produced, that wouldnt be a huge problem.
