This is what I've posted on the forum for how the pricing system works (we all know this information but I want to dissect this).
Format of Price Checking used on this thread is the 'b'/'s' system. It works like this...
All prices using this format are assumed to have taken place in the Grand Exchange.
Example:
If something is 78b that means that the last reported transaction was a Instant buy or a Non instant sell between 77,000,001-78,000,000.
If something is 75s that means that the last reported transaction was a Instant sell or a Non instant buy between 75,000,000-75,999,999.
Why are they rounded to the million? I've had a vote on this before and 80%+ of the vote was in favour of rounding to the million. I'd be willing to re-vote this should there be enough demand. Of course this doesn't mean you can't report to more decimal places should you wish

So in regards to players posting a transaction "inb zgs 999m" under contention is to what suffix should there be, our policy for the fc is to find if it is over/under w/e to find the correct pc. This is where I believe is no problem, in the fc for us to find the right pc we should ask these questions. What I've seen is people questioning some of our ranks on the forum for asking them about the over/under. Forums however our ranks don't have the same power to ask these questions. As well as on the forum it clearly states the prices must be reported in b/s. This has never been a problem, but due to this happening we should discuss on how these reports should be taken. I first would like some ideas to how they should be taken. I'd say assuming the pc is flat would be the easiest fix and then posting that price in the fc to check for conflicts: "inb 999b" no conflicts pc = 999b I bought this baby, straight cash

Logic behind the 'b'/'s' system rounding: If someone instant buys something for 34.3m for example they couldn't have instant bought it for 34m but they could have for 35m. The reverse is true.

didn't we say that we'd take the most recent update no matter how old?
Again more the reason to have a rank meeting w/ all active ranks (smiley-gen rank) to clarify these things/vote on them.

We did discuss that a time of 30 minutes was acceptable in the past, but with items these days some pcs don't get updated. I just think this is borderline irrelevant now if someone updates a zgs from 45 mins ago when previous pc is 3 hours old seems silly to deny the pc. with other items like nox/seis they get updated on a more frequent basis to where 30 minutes is reasonable, but even in that case taking the last known pc without a conflict would be better if it updates the pc. I think we adapted out of the less than 30 minutes time limit without the need to change the rule. Items are gettign traded on a less frequent basis to when time limits were helpful; I sometimes go hours pcing without every single item being updated, but if someone reported they bought one I know didn't get updated in a while it would be better to take the update.
As far as a rank meet up, I am very open to having one day we all have a fc event like minigame of Mobilising Armies for example
or another minigame to where we can all meet up and discuss anything we have about the fc in public or in the clan chat (during the meet/minigame day). Or if that doesn't sound like fun we can meet in the clan chat and discuss there or lastly post here on this thread if alll of that is too difficult. However, I know Lwut wants to play minigames (Mobilising Armies) so don't make him sad.
(obviously time zones are difficult but we can make something work) I bought this baby, straight cash
