Sorry for the lag, holiday atm for me. Originally we (me and he other kranks) created the ranges because wand was over max, we were lucky to have Umb, others and myself all ranked in the chat trading above max to create valid trade ranges. we never used unconfirmed trades to create a range but let traders see them at their own discretion. Uunconfirmed trades do not count towards range updates, it is too hard to see who legitimately trades above max without both players confirming. It is better to stay safe than create a range off trades we aren't sure that happened. These trades as well as others reporting in the fc will be taken into consideration when rank-ups occur as they fit the criteria of updating prices/reporting trades. I bought this baby, straight cash

Moving this here, but deranks will happen this week and take into effect on the 14th

Guidelines for deranking:

What each rank should do to retain their rank:

Smiley - Had some contribution to the chat in the last 3-4 months.

Recruit - Contributed to the chat at least a small amount in the last 3-4 months.

Corp - Contributed a moderate amount to the chat in the last 3-4 months.

Serg - Contributed a moderate amount to the chat in the last 3-4 months.

Lieutenant - Contributed a good amount to the chat in the last 3-4 months.

Captain - Contributed a lot to the chat in the last 3-4 months.

Contributing the chat includes but is not limited to: Pcing, conflicting, updating,
updating the forums
, kicking, maintaining order and keeping the google doc up to date. Basically any action that has a positive effect on the chat.

you guys may come up with your own key or guideline, but make it clear who you believe should be deranked I bought this baby, straight cash

If they are still needed, then perhaps keep a few of them (I see no reason to keep all of them), but otherwise just demote them. If we are going to vote on activity, in my eyes they all pretty clearly deserve a demotion (strictly looking at contribution with regards to the contribution expected at their rank), but for these 6 it's really more about whether or not they are needed.

Just my thoughts on the situation.
