Ok so i want to see the PROOF of me "trolling", told i have to raise a stink on forums to see that proof? so i guess here we are.

IM CURRENTLY BANNED FROM FC KICK ON SITE APPARENTLY SO I WANT THAT EVIDENCE MAKING ME THIS WAY.

There are Scammers, Lures, Manips... that come price check in this friends chat every single day. WELL KNOWN PEOPLE, WE ALL KNOW how they got there gold. and yet they come in and out every day, i'm OFFTOPIC two times and I'm not a BANNED Kick ON SITE for life... can i get a DaFuq?

And When was I Warned in chat? both those clearly show i make a simple *stupid* comment and BOOM BAN HAMMER FROM SOMEONE WITH A LITTLE TO MUCH AUTHORITY.

You are not banned for life. I believe you are only temp banned for 3 months but you can perform 10 hrs of price checking to be removed early.

I know you are probably a bit upset (noted and documented in my chats with you) right now, but I recommend cooling off for a bit and then watching your tone with all future chats and posts as it won't help your situation.

I wouldn't make false accusations about ranks and other new pcers in the fc if I was you, it will not exactly be helping your case of offense. It is 5 hrs pcing to get off kos for trolling, If you continue this behavior you may be subject to further punishment, i.e. the opportunity of pcing being taken away and inevitably waiting out the 3 months to be removed from list.

Postscriptum: You did have "warnings", may not have been direct but you should be able to understand if it is a warning when being told not to do something.

* In the first case you were making dishonest accusations about ranks which is highly unacceptable, you should be smart enough to understand that suggesting someone is a lurer in a fc which is primarily for pcing is shameful and would be considered trolling in any sense.

* In the second case Tirade specifically told you not to spam. Then what do you do? Spam letters.

didn't we change trolling to more than 2 instances for kos long ago? idk, I know we talked about it some long ago.

we changed it from 2 times to "several" times back in October of 2015, it's even on v3 still in nyam's words on first page.

so should he not be allowed one more chance in using fc without a ban? i'd say so. I've never in my life considered 2 times of anything to be "several". we changed it away from 2 for a reason, b/c too many ppl were being kos'd for trolling for so few offenses.

rank or not, I'm only stating the truth that no one cared to notice lol

only seems fair he deserves one last chance before any permanent discipline.

I don't believe every kick is worthy of a strike. I guess this is a different interpretation of what S oL is saying. In the cases of trolling, I will only strike if what someone says is particularly disruptive, racist or I recognise their name as a result of this not being the first time. I accept this is a judgement call each time and it would be impossible to set a standard in this regard, but I do think there are some people who might be too strict. Maybe I'm too lenient, I don't know.

I'm often slower to kick people, but I don't disagree with people being kicked without warnings if they should know better at this point. After all, an hour out of the fc isn't going to kill anyone. And if someone is just particularly angry, for example, they need that hour to calm down. It would not represent who they are or suggest that they will troll continuously, especially if it is just a one off. And if they can go about this by being off topic, but not being offensive, I don't think that would merit a strike.

Interesting.. Yes, technically several means more than two. But, I would assume there is a bit of discretionary room for kranks. Especially depending on the situation.

Perhaps the finding by S oL needs to be revisited again because in looking at the KOS list I only see 2 strikes for all active KOS players. So this 'several' rule from 2015 has not been used in a long time and is probably not accurate to use anymore.

Those that are KOS can be removed by contributing back to the FC (price checking) or just wait out their KOS term. It is not permanent. My assumption is that folks that truly want to contribute to the FC will have learned their lesson. Those that continue to disrupt the FC will continue to be kicked/banned.

So should he be giving another chance? Not in my opinion.

With all that being said, I think the majority of active kranks and higher are doing a pretty good job at managing the FC and deserve some credit for keeping it running pretty smoothly. We shouldn't have to defend ourselves every time someone gets their feelings hurt. We have earned our ranks.

On a side note, I asked him to post on this forum to express his concern over his KOS. He didn't do it on his own.

I think yo guys all do a fine job in judging who/when to kick, I myself don't add everyone to the strike list for trolling often. People mess up sometimes, and I try to give them the chance to improve. If you guys think trolls should be given a 3rd strike before the kos list we can vote to change it.

Lastly from now on any trade over max between a rank in the chat: corporal + does not require both sides to confirm. That being said try to get them to confirm the trade if you can. When marking trades on the forum do it as any other confirmed trade for ex: a rank (corporal +) sold 2750, confirmed trade 2750 unconfirmed non rank trade 2725

I've been yearning to bring this up but have not gotten around to posting. I understand right now that players get off of kos when their time is up regardless of if they have committed further offenses during their sentence or not. I know that if a player previously on kos breaks a rule again then there is a double kos sentence but this is aside from the point. I take issue with this topic because I believe there should be extensions of kos sentences if there are continuous offenses created by the player during their suspension. In my honest opinion, the player has not learned their lesson and if the player should decide to continue to break the rules then action must be taken to discuss the intensity of the extension among kranks. I have spoken with a few people about this topic but nothing seems to come of it. I would enjoy if people would post agreeing or disagreeing and give reasons why. Thank you.
