Well I think a better approach to this situation is just to ask them what lines they specificly want. 99% of the times they condense their request to a few lines. So when someone asks for a full line, you could say "please be specific" or "what lines in particular?" If the 1% still insists on a full line, you could tell them to rtf.

Seems like asking them what lines they want/rtf for full lines is just more spam than what's needed. Full line is just one more set of pc's than it was a few weeks ago. It's not much of a difference. You'll end up giving pc's again 5 seconds later so it doesn't really matter much if you give full lines or 1. Do it for the fc :p

I tend to agree with this. If you are PCing anyways, at some point in the near future you will have to type out all the lines, so you may as well give the full line when it is requested. If any thing, when you give the full line, you usually don't get another request for at least a minute, because everyone has gotten the PC that they wanted.

The other option is, if you don't want to PC the full line when it's requested, then try to find someone to split PC with you, especially if you could find a non-rank that is willing to do it (it's always good to find new PCers).

I completely agree that people shouldn't be saying "there's only 8 GE slots". Perhaps people want to get a view of the entire market, or if they are flipping they may be using the Comp App with alts. It just seems a very rude way to put it, and there are definitely better ways to go about it.

I think if you are keeping the forums up to date during your session and they have all of the most recent PCs there, it would be ok to tell people to rtf for the full line.

If you aren't keeping the forums updated, or are split price checking with somebody, then i think you should probably give them the full line in chat.

Just a thought =)

I don't think it is any pcer's intention to come off rude or mean-spirited but many of us do play the game at the same time while pcing. I also don't think it is too much to ask for someone to wait a few minutes to see if any additional lines they might be interested in are requested in the fc.

I do however agree that if you are splitting with someone then a full line shouldn't be a problem to provide.

Hybrid approach

Solo Price Checking:
- Do your best. There shouldn't be a requirement to scream out your price checks a second after the request. Plus this gives time for others to make requests that might be the same as the first request.
- Other rank price checkers should offer to help out as well. It's much appreciated :)
- Full line request, take your time as noted above. Also, I personally don't see an issue with what Lily said. If you keep the forum updated, you can use refer to forums (stated nicely) ' if ' you are getting bombarded with full line requests. Those that price check know that it is very possible to receive another full line request. I agree the whole 'only 8 slot' thing can come off as being rude even though it might not have been meant to be. People have the right to know, and that's why you are price checking.

Splitting Price Checks:
- Make it fair with what each person is price checking. Unless one person does not mind price checking more active lines.
- Full line requests shouldn't be an issue
- Occasionally one price checker may need a break to heat up a hot pocket. Would be nice if the other price checker took over for a few minutes. Not required, but much appreciated.

(Only my thoughts)
Attitudes:
- Over all I think the price checkers do an awesome job. It is a thankless time consuming process, especially if you are trying to play the game to. I feel we get massive assistance from other ranks in the FC as well. Especially with conflicts and trolls etc. Much appreciated!
- However there are a few ranks that need to lighten up. I have seen some price checkers try to correct peoples language style when requesting a price check. Ex: Yo yo yo, hook me up with a nox price check. Response: "Quit trying to be cool and ask for request correctly". Umm, who are you to tell someone to speak a certain way. Your job is to price check. Even though it might irk you the way they are requesting it.
