I have never seen this happen or maybe not paid enough attention to chat when I'm doing fishvention. Now expanding onto this topic, some people's HUD chat may be short in length. Your example of a lighthearted request may be take up one or two lines of the chat in game. But for those on the companion app using a phone (to run lines or price check), the chat bubble with example request takes up like 1/5 of the screen essentially very minor spam in my opinion. All in all, yes lighten up the attitude and accept their language style. Take action in a friendly manner if it is deemed excessive spam. I mean we don't want something like this... "Good morning everyone in 90weaps pc, the weather in the United Kingdom is the usual beautiful rain. To lighten up the day, can I have noxious price check please with a cherry on top and an extra cherry on top of the cherry."
