The spoils of war... Brilliant. That really takes me back, and that list is a lot longer than I remember it being

In a way, it does prove a point too. While so many suggesters are getting demotivated because their entire thread won't get developed, we all forget JaGex has been picking little things from larger ideas for years. Hopefully that list on the front page will get some motivation back into the community

i know i made quite the number of responses of having a renew feature for summoning, that could even include requiring another pouch. [can't remember how many suggested it]

there was something in my combat rant that was implemented...but i don't remember =[

there were some others, but i can't remember =P

Since it seems very likely that the wild is to be restored/runied [dependent on your views* what do you think will be move out and what should be?


I think most content that was there under the 'old wild' will remain that includes the
mage arena
the chaos alter
KBD
agility course
clues

was FOG or the chaos caves there?

I also strongly suggest that if do not already have all the 3 god spells to do it now, otherwise it may become harder to obtain.

Also if you have a low agility level and require the wild course, should get on that.

I do see a lot of newer content being placed elsewhere....

since a lot of 'safe spots' and even a bank was added to it since its removal.

In light of all these claims I'd think of myself as responsible for the dragonfire shield :) I wasn't all that much involved with the Skill Fight arena though, that was mostly Silverscale's :$ But then again, idea's like that have been floating around since the beginning, similar to your slayer threat kicky; you can hardly be sure if it was you in person or just general consensus by thirty threads.
Nor should it matter, I for one mostly wrote for my own amusement and not so much for expecting to see it back into the game :/

Nox, your name doesn't ring a bell here, sorry :$ What kind of threads did you have back then? Our name was changed because of a bunch of angry fishers, we could change it back but don't see a reason at this moment for doing so :/

Fog or corporal beast weren't around in the old wilderness. Nor was obtaining a god spell ever a problem :P

I reckon very little should be removed from the wilderness, merely the rewards adjusted appropriately to compensate for any increased danger. Including the Spirit of Summer saga, which was advertised as being the first wilderness quest and would be dangerous!

Things like Stealing Creation and Clan Wars could have an escort in Edgeville who'll teleport you to the arenas so has to avoid PKers just hanging out around them waiting for people wanting to play. Clan Wars is too big to be relocated, but I suppose Stealing Creation could if worst comes to worst.

The Beacons are fine.

There could be some sort of Ward item that gives players a burst of freedom from danger - only working below level 30, not in combat, etc. If something bad should happen whilst on your way to do some questing, simply activate the Ward and you have 10 minutes of safety. :)

I just wonder how exactly they will change Wilderness based quests... A lot of tweaking would be required in the Defender of Varrock plotline to avoid players entering the wilderness. And when that does happen, what will happen to the armoured zombies? Will they get moved away from the Chaos Temple? That could cause quite a stir... They're very popular to train on because of the proximity of an altar

And as for the Summer quests, they take up a lot of space as they are - with both wilderness ruins being used. Their area might become pretty squashed if they're put elsewhere

Still, I believe that's a worthy price to pay all in all. I've never been big on PKing but I really miss the thrill of free trade...

They could be moved into a different dimension with revenants for all I care, much like the tutorial gives you a lumbridge to play in which isn't actually the actual lumbridge.

CWA has to go. Seriously, it's not even funny how much space that piece of junk uses, especially given it serves no purpose as you don't actually fight in that part of space if you enter the classic arena. Same goes for bounty hunter as far as I'm concerned, with bank and all.

That's quite a good idea, actually.

Create an entire Spirit Realm of the Wilderness, not just sections of it. The revenants can occupy the Spirit Realm. The backwards segments of the quest can still happen, you merely have to make short trips into the real world. Could be dangerous.

Areas with rewards could incur a message such as "The corporeal energy becomes too much to bear; you find yourself unable to go forward..." and the same requirements would apply to enter them.

In fact, having a whole spirit realm could solve a lot of issues. The bounty volcano could be filled with skeletons, and whilst in the spirit realm they are spirit versions of the slayer monsters - to comply with the backwards stuff.
