BANDOS GUIDE

ENTERING THE GOD WAR DUNGEON:
You must bring a Hammer and wear a zamorak and a saradomin item. If this is your first trip to the GWD, you must bring a rope to enter. You will only need the rope once. The Zamorak and Saradomin item are necessary to not be attacked by the numerous Sara and Zammy mages, rangers, and warriors in the GWD. Next, you will need 70 Strength to be able to enter the Bandos chamber.

BANDOS INVENT:
Now back to the invent, you will need around 8-9 prayer pots, a 1-click-tele, and a super set, and the rest should be filled with sharks. If you go as a large group to Bandos and have 50+ Prayer, you only need 2-3 ppots (4). You can use the Bandos Altar inside the room every 10 minutes, so players with higher prayer levels may actually be able to recharge their prayer before it runs out. In exchange, bring 2 Saradomin Brew (4) and 1 Super Restore (4). This is to be used for emergencies or to re-stock the Tanker if the Tanker runs out of brews/restores.

EQUIP:
The equipment is fairly easy. First, do not forget the sara and zammy item, the rest depends on your choice. The most common set-up is a barrows armour chest and legs, a high defense shield, and a whip. This helps keep you alive if the Bandos General attacks you instead of the tanker.

NOTES: There is a lot of confusion over Saradomin and Zamorak items. Saradomin items that are easy or cheap to get include a Holy Symbol and Saradomin Mage Arena cape. More items that are expensive are Saradomin Blessed *'Hide bracers or chaps, or Saradomin rune armor. Zamorak has the same list of items, except it is an Unholy Symbol. In addition, there is the red Zamorak robes top/bottom, which you can buy for very cheap and discard once in the General's room.

You should also bring a Bandos item as well, as it makes getting to the Bando chamber much easier and safer. There is 5 Bandos items that you can use. The cheapest is the Ancient Mace from the Goblin Quests, but you need to do the quest to wield it. The next cheapest is Bandos Boots - but expect to pay 1.5+ million for those. Bandos chestplate, tassets, and godsword start at 11+ million and go up from there. If you do the quest for the oo'gle spa'*, you can dip in the Bandos pool and be safe from general Bandos creatures in the God War Dungeon for 30 minutes to an hour. This is generally safe, unless we spend over an hour looking for a free world to lootshare in.

GETTING THE KC:
Before you can enter bandos, you need to get a 40 bandos creature kill count (kc). As soon as you enter GWD (after you climb rope), head north. Directly North of the entrance is a group of Hobgoblins that are fighting Werewolves, Hellhounds, and Bloodvelds. If you wait until a Hobgoblin is attacking one of those three, you can kill it without it fighting back. This is a safe and fast way to get KC without taking damage. All you need is one hit on a creature, and if it dies, it counts towards your kc.

GETTING TO THE BOSS:
After getting a 40 kc, head to the farthest North point, this is where players gather before entering the Bandos chambers. Once everybody is ready, you will be heading southwest along the wall until we reach the Hammer Door. With a hammer in your inventory, enter this door and you will be in the large Bandos chamber before the General's room. Do not go through this door unless you have a Bandos item, or when the Team Leader tells you to. Once the team leader says to enter, if you do not have a Bandos item equipped, put mage prayer on and enter the big door (need hammer for this). Immediately run northeast, and open the door to the chamber of Bandos General Boss. As soon as you reach the door, switch to range prayer

NOTE: If you do not have a Bandos Item equipped, every Bandos Spiritual Mage will be targeting you as you run to the General's door. No matter your mage defence, you will likely die very fast if you do not have mage protect on. You will also be the target of all Bandos Spiritual Rangers and Warriors, so it is likely you will take some damage on the way. You will not be able to wait at the General's door without a Bandos Item equipped, so only go through the Hammer Door *when* the Team Leader or Tanker tells you to go!

KILLING THE BOSS:
There is 1 Boss (The General) and his 3 lieutenants (Babies). The General attacks with Melee on one person and only that one person until they are dead or have left the room. His secondary attack is a range-based attack that hits all players in the room. Each Baby has a different attack style. One is Range, one is Mage, and one is Melee. They attack random persons throughout the room. The most dangerous of the three Babies is the Mage, as everybody is usually wearing melee armour with low mage defence.

NOTE: When the Bandos General re-spawns, he targets one random person in the room for his Melee attack. However, if somebody attacks him before he reaches that person, he will instead target that first attacker. Thus the job of the Tanker is to attack the General *before* anybody else does. That also means that if you are *not* the tanker, stay in the corner of the room indicated until the General respawns, and if you can, do not attack until the Tanker has hit the General. However, the General will *not* stop attacking you if he has targeted you and the Tanker did not hit him in time! In that case, *do not run*. IMMEDIATELY switch to Melee Protect, and sip your Sara Brews or eat Sharks as necessary. If you must, teleport! However, everybody should realize that once you teleport, the General *will* target somebody else in the room, so be prepared

*IMPORTANT* Stay in the corner indicated by the Tanker *until* the General re-spawns. This is *very* important to give the Tanker time to attack the General *first*. WHILE HES ALIVE, DONT TAKE RANGE PRAYER OFF. IF YOU SEE HIM MELEEING YOU, PRAY MELEE.

LOGGING:
It happens to everybody - you get logged out of the game while in the Bandos chamber. *Don't Panic!* If you have a friend in there that you can IM, wait till they say it's safe to log back in. If you do not, you have one other choice. *You can log in at World 6.* World 6 is the Bandos world, and the Bandos chamber is *always* crowded with very high levels killing Bandos in 2-3 swings. This makes this the safest place to log in from a random disconnect. If you log into World 6 safely, you can teleport at that time if you want, or you can contact the other team members and wait until a good time to log back into the correct world.

DEATH:
Everybody dies in Bandos. It happens. If you do die, do not panic. Somebody should be able to bless your grave, giving you an hour to get back. With preparation, you can be back in the room in less than 20 minutes. But that is with preparation! If you are planning to do Bandos regularly, make sure you have a *SPARE* Saradomin and Zamorak item! If you have to buy an item to get back into the God War Dungeon, you may not make it in time! One cheap method is to have at least 5 Holy Symbols, and 2-5 sets of the red Zamorak robe tops/bottoms. It is hard to have a spare Bandos item without a lot of money, so I suggest doing the Oo'gle Spa quest if you can. Then you can dip in the Bandos pool before running to your grave. Once you have all that, and you have gotten the KC again, make sure that your team is still in the Bandos Chamber, and only go in when they say.

If they are not, and there is another team in there, in my opinion the best time to go in is *after* the Bandos general has re-spawned and the other team's Tanker has engaged the General. This way you can run into the room and should be able to stay alive with Protect with Range on. This method gives you time to get your items back from your grave. If you wait until the General is dead, you run the risk of the General respawning and targeting *you* while you are trying to pick up items.

If there is no team in the room, you must make sure you can get a team-mate that is experienced in Tanking to enter the room *first* and have them engage the General. Unless you are a very high level of defense with good equipment, you will not be able to recover your grave by yourself

GUIDE TO GODWARS (Armadyl)

1) Introduction

Like the rest of the God Wars Dungeon, Armadyl's Eyrie is a terribly dangerous place, not least because you will be unable to attack any of its defenders with melee. Please only bring equipment that you're not awfully attached to.

To access Armadyl's Eyrie, you will need a crossbow and a mithril grapple, as well as a Ranged level of 70.

As the entirety of Armadyl's forces in his base are capable of flight, you will be unable to attack any of them with melee

2) Items Required

This has to be worn when you enter the dungeon:

A Piece of Saradomin Gear. ( Crucial )
A Piece of Zamorak Gear.
A Piece of Armadyl Gear ( CRUCIAL )
I strongly suggest you use armadyl pendant, which can be obtained for free from " Temple of Ikov " Quest.
Black Dragon Hide / Karil Top and Bottom
Black Dragon Hide Vambraces / " Barrows " Gloves
Diamond Enchanted Bolts + Rune Crossbow ( Crucial )
Ava's Accumulator
Any Other Equipment that you may Require

3) Inventory

10 Super Restores (4)
14 Saradomin Brews (4)
Mithril Grapple
Ruby Enchanted Bolts ( Optional )
Darkbow ( Optional )
Dragon Arrows ( Optional )
Any other equipment that you may require.

4) Obtaining the Kill Counts.

Once you enter the dungeon, Proceed southwards towards
Armadyl's Eyrie. Outside the Eyrie, you'll see several
Aviansie flying around. Their Level ranges from 69 - 148.
I Strongly Reccomend that you use the prayer " PROTECTION FROM MISSLES " when getting your kill count. As with any member of armadyl's forces, they can only be killed with range or mage.

Some of the Aviansie that you kill will drop noted adamantite bars. You're highly encouraged to pick these up as they will pay for the bulk if not all of your expenses for this God

5) Engaging the Boss

After obtaining the kill count required, we will enter the dungeon with the mithril grapple and walk Northwest towards the boss room. As there is no way to protect yourself from Armadyl's followers while getting there other than the use of prayer, the Piece of Armadyl Gear is Crucial. Several members of Zamorak's Forces can be FOUND inside Armadyl's Eyrie.

Once We're outside the boss room, Everyone should drink a dose of saradomin brew and super restore to boost stats.

Before entering the dungeon, Activing the prayer " PROTECTION FROM MISSILES " is Crucial. Without it, you'll die in roughly 3 hits. Hence one should ensure that his / her prayer should not ever run out when the boss is still alive.

The strategy to killing the boss is simply counting on the special effects of your diamond / ruby bolts to kick in. A Darkbow is reccommended at this point as its special attacks boasts a 100% Sure Hit.

After the boss dies, everyone should Split up and engage each of the lieutants. Activating the prayer necessary for each, then switch on protection from missiles to await Kree's (Armadyl Boss) Spawn.

I Strongly Reccomend everyone to switch on Sound inside the boss room. As others may not be paying attention and end up killing the lieutants rather than the boss, which can confuse you along with the large amounts of graphical effects made by the boss , causing you to switch off prayer and die in the process.

The chances of recovering your items when you die is slim to none.

With all that, Good Luck everyone while killing Kree'arra and his minions

1) Introduction

Like the rest of the God Wars Dungeon, Zamorak's Fortress is a terribly dangerous place. Please only bring equipment that you're not awfully attached to.

Players will need to swim cross icy waters in order to reach Zamorak's domain, but they will only be able to do so with a minimum of 70 Hitpoints.

Be warned that once you get there, the evil that resides within will drain your prayer to 0 and the light will begin to diminish.

As you get closer to the lair of K'ril Tsutsaroth, the evil will grow stronger and the light darker still.

To finally come into K'ril Tsutsaroth's presence, you must have slain at least forty of Zamorak's followers.

4) Obtaining the Kill Counts.

Players will notice skirmishes between Bandos & Zamorak Followers to the North as well as Saradomin & Zamorak's Forces to the East.

You are recommended to capitalise on the fact that they're too busy to notice you if you attacked them when they're engaged in combat with another God's forces. Hence effectively, you take no damage.

Also, Prayers should be exploited while obtaining Kill Counts since it will be DRAINED to ZERO after you cross the Ice Bridge.

Imps & Ice Fiends are Highly Recommended, Goraks should be AVOIDED at any COST

Players can also choose to enter Zamorak's Fortress prematurely to get their kill counts from imps inside. A total of 5 imps are avaliable inside, but is not recommended due to slow spawn rates.

5) Engaging the Boss

After obtaining the kill count required, we will enter Zamorak's Fortress by crossing the Ice Bridge. Once we are across, we will move Southeast towards the Boss Chamber.

Outside the Boss Chamber, once the " Pot Up " Signal is given by the E/Cs, Players are advised to drink a dose of their potions in this order. Saradomin Brew , Super Restore , Ranging or Super Attack and Strength, Prayer Potion , Super Anti Poison.

Afterward, the E/Cs will enter the boss chamber FIRST. Players MUST wait outside the boss chamber until the E/Cs give the signal to enter.

Before entering, the protect from Melee prayer should be toggled.

From here, the styles branch out again should you choose Set A gear or Set B gear.

Set A :

Once you are comfortable in the boss chamber, you have the option to choose whether you which to switch to Protection from Missiles prayer.

Players should then stand as far away from the boss as possible. Preferably on the Opposite end and use your crossbow to pelt the boss with Diamond(e) bolts. The E/Cs will try to tank the boss, with you taking Minimal Damage.

Set B :

Once you are comfortable in the boss chamber, you have the option to choose whether you which to switch to Protection from Magic prayer.

As Jagex has recently improved the " Strange Dancing Effect " for players vs monsters without affecting the monsters AI, which this style is heavily reliant on, Melee can be used. Due to an effort to balance the monsters, the Zamorak Godwars Bosses and his Minions have high Extreme offensive capabilities, but have mediocre defence. Hence Melee can be used, just walk up and hit them.

Both paths will merge for this section.

However, as the " Tanking " Method is NOT Fool Proof, Players are recommended to be constantly aware of the boss's movements. Should he move towards you and attack you, all PLAYERS other than E/Cs should STOP ATTACKING and move away from the boss. The E/C will hold the Boss with the Zamorak Godsword Special, which boasts at 97% accuracy rate on the boss. This will IMMOBILISE him for 20 seconds, however, he will STILL ATTACK if you're in his melee range. All players must stop attacking to allow him to target the E/C.

6) After the Boss is dead.

It is a common trend for all 3 of the Boss's Minions to target One Specific Player.

All players except the one targetted must kill the Minions in this order.

Balfrug Kreeyath(Mage, Black Coloured Demon) > Zakl'n Gritch (Range)> Tstanon Karlak (Melee, Biggest Mouth).

If you're the Special One who's getting piled :

Set A

Run around the Parimeters of the Boss chamber with Protection from Missiles until Balfrug Kreeyath(Mage) and Zakl'nGritch (Range) is dead.

Set B

Run around the Parimeters of the Boss chamber with Protection from Magic. Once Balfrug Kreeyath (Mage) is dead, switch to Protection from Missiles, you can choose to either continue Running or Start Killing.

There is also a third option of being thick skinned by killing the Minions with all 3 of them PILING YOU at the SAME TIME Dealing CONSTANT 200s.
