Hello trialers,
We've realized that some of you are not sure what to look for in a trial floor. Your goal is to pass people who understand the basics of our style. They don't have to be super efficient or perfect, that will come with time. But you should only pass people who have the correct starting point.
Things to look for:
- Binds - do they have at least two styles and are they effective items to bind?
- Uses two styles when fighting - ranges the mages, melees the rangers and all that
- Attitude - was it a joy to floor with them? did they take your advice well?
- Performs role properly - you can find the requirements for the roles on the recruitment thread and make a check list out of that
Edit: It's a good idea not to key while conducting a trial so that you can better observe the person.
Hello everyone,
We'd like to remind you that everyone who is ranked has veto power over all trial floors. That means that if you're in a floor where a trial is going on and you don't think the person should pass then PM then person running the trial and tell them that you veto a pass. This goes for trial floors held by generals, keyers, and trialers. You can veto them all!
