Did jagex just remove random events from the game? 0_o
AND fix the character face model? (Or is it really fixed. I have yet to log in and check so idk how it looks).
@Sereg, I keyed a 24 and 26 minute floor last night. All rooms cleared, armor/melees made. Though I had a good team that worked well together. In general floor times are improving. I average 28-32 minutes usually. Some as low as 24 minutes. I've been in a few floors that were 21 or 22 minutes. The usual skilling as done in those floors also.
We've gotten better at kabde's, and some updates like the key bag/toolbelt update have changed things so much in floors. Ores and herbs are stackable so skilling is a breeze compared to before those updates.
If I can get times under 32 minutes consistently you easily can too. Though you have been gone so long it may take you a couple weeks to get back into things. No different from other people that come and go from the group.

If I were still playing, I'd be extremely happy about the removal of random events - it's something I wanted to see done for years. Unfortunately, it's not enough to overcome my disapproval at the official selling of gold and XP =\

I think it's the best update of the year :) .
I'm hoping that they take away selling spins because the selling of cosmetic stuff is going so well. I'm surprised at how many people actually buy the stuff, but it's all over the place. Divi even pointed out to me that one outfit is over $30 and I've seen people with it! Seems to me like they should have done that years ago. It makes them a lot more money, makes people happy to look pretty, and doesn't hurt those who don't care about paying to look pretty (well except for the annoyance when trying to see what people are wearing in a dungeon).

thank the universe they are gone! i didnt mind the area effect ones like a split in the timespace continuum dragging you into a pocket dimension but every bleeding time it would happen outside of dg. damn british spacetime continuum rift removal companies taking so long to amber that junk, this is why we dont have a tv show!
i can see little d&d's in the future appearing like a rift or spacial disturbance that you can choose to take part in stitching back together. or maybe even the invasion of the technologically advanced, telepathic bald men, i dunno. i just really liked the idea of natural occurrences causing minor disturbances that you can choose to take part in and are easily avoided being added in the future (maybe earthquakes or flashfire) but not creepy old men luring you into his maze on a quest to touch his strange artifact.
all in all, rejoice this day as the day that they arrested the useless beekeepers and promiscuous royalty of gielinor :D

Heh. Amusing post, Jiga, and I agree with the sentiment.
For those of you who are aware of my Youtube identity, I've uploaded a video of the game I moved on to after Runescape, if anyone is interested.
