i think it was said after clusterflutter that anyone caught botting from that point on would be banned permanently, the second chance was for the people up until the point of cluster so now they are hitting hard. this data analysis tool sounds like a piece of tech developed to be used as a gatherer of hard evidence so they can go ahead to further prosecution.
don't let sof/soloman pidgeonhole your view of jagex, the last bot nuke was a success remember, it did what it was meant to do. it deactivated a high percentage of "smart" bots, but, as with any type of eradication that leaves even a spec that can still be used to exploit, the 2% that remained became the 100% (i know that was obvious but you know what i mean). the bots that run riot are very primitive, a lot are colour pickers, and because they are easily glitched/diverted and killed/broken botters had to increase their numbers to compensate.
you may call me naive or ignorant to the situation but it looks like botters are limping to survive: dont look at their numbers as a sign of failure in jagex, look at them as a sign of desperation in the botters themselves. it's how i stay sane....ish
