It's all good. While questing and whatnot I often times left the chat because I knew I wasn't going to floor. I know people have other things to do than floor all the time, but seeing as it is an FC to dunge with rather than a clan that sometimes does floor here and there it would be nice for the "120 Dg already but have other things to do" hop in a floor a lil more often. It seems there are more 120 idlers rather than say 106 and eager to floor people now. I guess that's what naturally happens over time. Not sure what can motivate the idle people to floor more, but I always loved when I was around 103 Dg and I would be in a group that was all maxed and nearing 120 if not already there. That's the way I learned to be better just by simply being with the ones that decided to get a floor going even though they could be doin other things. And as this is a cycle that is beneficial to the chat, it seems all the accomplished Dg'ers just don't simply have the drive anymore. It's sad but hopefully people start finishing up the other things and want to floor again.

P.S. Dg gets fun at 120 and beyond. :)

Yeah it would be nice for the people doing other things to come help more often. One floor a day takes 20 minutes max and it really helps out the group. If 200 people did one floor a day we'd have 40 floors a day.

I don't want to push out the people who mainly focus on other goals but still occasionally dg. That would result in even fewer helpers I think.

We go in cycles. Whenever a new update comes out people forget about dungeoneering and go do it. The worst time before was runespan. Now we have got old school :P . At least it doesn't have dungeoneering. That would totally ruin us!

in response to the recent game rule changes and in turn an accusation posted on our application thread, im just going to post this statement below to try and ease any potential worries or ideas involved:

With the recent rule additions concerning gambling and in particular the inclusion of decisions made via randomly generated scenarios, our rare drop policy has been connected with said rule additions due to our use of hidden, randomly generated combat levels in deciding who gets a certain item: predominantly slayer and elusive boss drops (arrows, full helms, etc.)

The "Rare Drop Policy" is designed to make the process of deciding who gets a desired drop/item as fair as possible. The use of randomly generated combat levels is only there as a last resort should no one fit our criteria for automatically receiving the item. It does not facilitate the trust trade and in turn the RWT of goods as the buying of binds using any means is against the internal rules of the chat, the result of which if performed is permanent ban from the fc and any future floors involved with/advertised in the chat.

We hope that our Rare Drop Policy is ok to continue as it is but if, however, it is indeed a breach of the new rules created today then we beg for any form of confirmation from a J-Mod so that we can try and create a new, fair, and, most importantly, non-rulebreaking method of dealing with desired Dg items as soon as possible. :)

Thanks ^_^

Well, they've only made the rule change to remove competition for SoF, not because they believe games of chance are actually inappropriate, or even necessarily disapproved of by the player base - that hasn't seemed to influence past updates, in any case.

So unless Jagex decides to add Hexhunters and Blood Necklaces to the Squeal of Pay to Win, the rare drop policy should be just fine.

That, and, as you said, the purpose of the Rare Drop system is entirely different - you're distributing existing items, and no one is risking anything, nor is anyone profiting from it.

You should try looking on the bright side more, Sereg. I find it increases happiness :P . I am very glad that the flower games are gone. They were spammy and scammy. Yay!

I don't think our rare drop policy will be a problem as it is not the problem they are attempting to get rid of with the new rule.

Oh, I agree that removing the player run games of chance is a positive step for the game, and one I'd have loved to see a long time ago.

I just don't appreciate the motives.
