I can't claim to know you at all and I've only been in this clan for about a month under your leadership, but from what I've seen you make a very decent Queen and person. You're not obliged to explain to anyone your reason for leaving and if that's what you choose I'm sure everyone can respect that. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do next =)

I have mixed feelings about this. While I do agree that change is necessary and POCs simply can't go back to the exact same way they used to be; that doesn't mean that where it's at as currently is perfect.

Most people would agree that things used to be better "back in the day" (at least with certain aspects). It's never going to be the same, but what's to stop us from restoring some of that former glory in a way that would fit the current community?

Oops..just read the RA! Raine, good luck to you on wherever you go. You were always cordial to me, and you seemed like you had your head on straight. You, Lali, and Alake have clearly brought KOV out of its slump and into a new age that is more role-play oriented. KOV is a dynamic clan that changes every year, and you did the best you could. Leading it is certainly not easy. Things were going well when I was King and I still found it quite stressful. Again, enjoy your future endeavors.

To Sora: Welcome to hell. Just kidding, it'll be fun. I know you've been a rank long before this in KOV so you know the drill anyway. Best of luck to ya. My advice to you is simple: Don't **** up.

Top Ranger Competition (monthly)

Top Ranger Visitor (non-subclan member)

this competition is a once a month event sponsored and
run by the Ranger Corps. In order to push for more friendly
Ranger events catering to all types at once, the Rangers are
now hosting a monthly event that operates much like a tournament.
There is different rules per category of what the Rangers are
involved in;

RP Tournament:

operates much like a combat scenario, in this competition, Rangers
(and visitors) will compete in an RP battle, taking turns making their moves.
Each contestant is given a limited amount of dodges to be used, and a specific
amount of power attacks. Power attacks and dodges are determined by specific
combat stats (Being the fact that Rangers in fact a COMBAT subclan ;) ) in the
following statistics:

1 dodge per 10 defense levels, with 10 being max (99 def)

1 Power attack per offensive level (Range, Mage, attack) with 10 being max (99)

Each contestant is also given a specific amount of health (500).

Regular attack deals 15 damage

Power attack deals 40 damage,

Dodge uses a turn

Multiple attacks per turn is not permitted and will be listed
as a miss and turn used.

attempting to attack again before the other contestant has his turn
will result in a turn skip for the offender and a strike. 3 strikes is
automatic loss.

Judges will be ever present to ensure there is no cheating.

PvE Tournament:

Each Contestant will be given a boss monster they will be tasked with hunting. Judges
will take a tally on how many kills each person has BEFORE they go to fight their selected boss
and be given a time limit for how many times that boss can be killed (custom instance on fastest respawn)

teaming is forbidden in this tournament as this is a gauge of each persons skills.

any loot obtained is up to contestants discretion of how to handle it as they have earned it.

Judges will keep a close tally on pre-set kill ¸,.-•*´`*•-.,¸

counters for each contestant, and each contestant will be asked
to quick-chat their current kill count, to which judges will use to determine how many kills each contestant will
have obtained in a time limit (approx. 3-4 mins per contestant).

PvP Tournament:

Your basic everyday PvP tournament, bring your best gear and pummel eachother, Judges will
observe each duel to ensure the proper victor is crowned at the end.



Notes:

the Top Ranger Visitor mark is for non sub-clan members only, as the other titles are for Rangers only,
and to give everyone else a reason to join in ;)

Judges will be available Ranger staff, in the absence of available staff, the Ranger Commander will ask
available admin staff to assist in judging.
