The man fell to the earth, and bled out. Oblitus shortly looked over to see Perierat smash his mace into the skull of the next guard, and bash his lifeless body away with his shield. Perierat readied himself for his final attacker, who circled around him in an effort to confuse the undead nightmare.
Inanis, who still remained dreadfully unaware that a fight was surrounding him, continued to divinate from the land. Nearby, the guard that Perierat had bashed in the chest began to stir back into consciousness, his eyes flickering as he met reality once more.
Oblitus jumped up, gripping onto the branch of a nearby tree, before taking yet another descent, swinging his spear rampantly. As he landed, the frontal blade of his rusting weaponry made contact with the torso of his foe, and the guard's torso was swiftly removed from his legs. Behind him, the guard attempted to avoid the blow from the curved dagger on the back end of the spear. Unfortunately, he made contact with one of the bodies lying on the ground, and it slowed his escape. The dagger end made contact with the side of his face, and quickly sawed off his jaw. A gurgling screech could be heard, as Oblitus turned around and ran his spear quickly through the dying man's chest, ending his life.
Perierat, in the meantime, swung his mace towards the guard's head, making contact with the side of his face, and the force of the blow cracked the man's neck, swiftly ending his life. Perierat looked over at Oblitus, who was busy tearing the lifeless body of the guard off of his spear.
Behind them, Inanis screamed as the recently recovered guard ran his sword through the chainmail of his armour, and Inanis then forced his battleaxe into the man's chest, watching him suffer ten times the pain he was experiencing. Ripping his prized axe from the man's chest, he let him fall into the Anima Rift, and the man's body disintegrated into nothing. Inanis ripped the sword out, dropping it into the rift.
