Events. A magic word, which can also be a magical experience. That said, they’re lacking. Sorely. Events are a magnificent feature that can unite people, allow people to bond, mindlessly massacre, settle blood feuds, develop new friendships, experience new things, enjoy KoV in a new way, interact with the clan in general, and much, much more. Can fault be accredited to any singular person? No, and it would be absurd to begin to suggest so. However, it is crucial that, as a kingdom, we unite to churn out events and ensure they are varied. They not only allow citizens to unite in enjoying the wonder that is KoV in the world of Gielinor, but also bolster our attractiveness as a kingdom. An active kingdom is a kingdom people want to be a part of, and more people can only be good for us.

I think it’s no secret we’re stuck in a rut, as far as KoV goes, not helped by the changing winds of Runescape, yet we still routinely ensure that, according to Runeclan, we’re in the top 1000 clans for XP gained on a daily and weekly basis, and that goes to show that we’re good, but we’re not quite Carling. We need to be Carling.

So, next time you find yourself standing in a bank, wondering what the meaning of life is if not 42, or mindlessly walking around Gielinor, just think *I could host an event”. Whether that means planning one for later and getting the word out, or holding a spontaneous event, it’s all crucial to ensuring KoV can be KoV and it’s an enjoyable atmosphere for all. Whether it be a full-blown roleplay, a trip to a boss, bashing each others skulls in, or even something as simple as, perhaps, a game of draughts in the games room. It all goes towards bolstering KoV as a whole. We all have a part to play, so let’s start playing it.

So, with all that, I will now bring this significantly-shorter-than-last-time TVT to a close. I thank those of you for reading it, and hope you’ll all look forward to the next issue which should, all things well and good, be next week.

Thanks again and happy Scaping.

Also before I forget, yes to a certain someone, I am trying very hard.

Not hard enough. :)

But that effort is clearly rock hard, Sora.

Beware of falling rocks.

Also.... Quite a far more colorful TVT, Campo, was easier for my wee lil pebble brain to hold focus.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Attention All Citizens of Varrock=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

It has come to our attention that a great evil has entered our world in recent times. This is a threat far greater than that of the vampires, pirates and even the gods themselves. The threat I speak of is quite clear.

Mimics have been spotted in the vicinity of the town of Burthorpe.

Already, countless adventurers from across the world have gathered to face them. Sadly, many of these adventurers are rather incompetent and the flood of unspeakable evil seems to have no end. As such, I implore you, good citizens of Varrock, to lend your support to this noble effort to drive back the forces of evil.

I am authorizing the granting of the following titles should you perform admirably in this endeavor:

Slayer of the Legions of the Damned
: Slay at least 30 mimics of any level.
Mimic's Bane
: Slay 5 Elite Mimics by whatever means necessary.
One of Them
: Become a turncoat and traitor to your kingdom by equipping the tongue cape and mimic head while having a mimic pet follow you.

For those of you unable to face this threat yourselves, please give a moment of thanks to the brave souls protecting you all from this horrible threat.
Kite Sumane, Prince of Varrock

-Mimring would rise from his desk, ink letters on his face and a sheet of paper stuck in his hair, with a grunt he would head toward the exit of his workshop and move to the surface, noticing the pile of newspaper he would freeze for a moment before realizing for how long he has been working. Cleaning himself quickly he would grab a set of presentable clothes and start toward Varrock with a few curses along the way. Khan of Goshima, master of the order of the damned.
Subject of the Wushanko empire.
