Despite it being planned well before hand, I am sorry to see you go, Raine. From what I have seen, you were an excellently tenacious Queen and have undoubtedly bettered the Kingdom in many ways.

With that, I must also say congratulations and good luck to Queen Sora - may your reign be as lustrous as Raine's was.

I thought I would reply to this separately. I'm not entirely sure if things were better back in the day - just different. In our past, I believe the Kingdom was more suited to its time and the state of Runescape as a whole; now is not the time to be emulating the past, therefore, but to be forging ahead and changing to suit the new world we exist in. As you say, we should fit the current community, and I do not believe the KOV of old would be able to do this. Aicy

on this i agree to an extent. there are certain aspects of old that work well and were removed to experiment around. some of the old stuff did work and that stuff i believe would be ok to return. Using old stuff for the sake of going back is not wise. For example, Rangers were disbanded but brought back. while it is similar to the old Rangers, there is new stuff in it and its making it work. old and new for the most part.

I mean KOV is doing pretty well in this regard; it's been largely able to adapt to current times without losing the essence of what it is.

Take a look at almost any other POC and you'll be able to see what I mean clearly.
