Heist Minigame Spotlight Recap

Although we had to postpone the event to a few hours later into the evening (8:30PM Est.), it went very well! A few clan members took this opportunity to try out Heist for the first time, learning from each other while earning 5x the Thaler rate. It was quite hectic on the voice channel, but that's the best part of Heist. Thank you for coming!!

-- Meeting Recap for 9/12/2017 --


Recap:

- We are 14% of the way to tier 6citadel, roughly two weeks into our upgrade cycle. This will put us at over two months to get tier6, as was originally expected. We need a lot of everything, so as long as we continue to get upkeep and have 25 members visit, we are on-track to hit tier 6 in that time. Once the recruitment raffle finishes, we will start up the clan capping raffle once more.
- The recruitment raffle is finishing up with us currently sitting at 191 members, leaving 9 spots left. Hopefully we can finish this up this week and draw the prizes at the next meeting. Additionally, with the new feature that sends a notification that you cap at the citadel to your adventurer’s log, there might be a way to use this to check who has capped in a more reliable and easy fashion and this might be able to be used for the capping raffle.

- We have tentatively scheduled a fun war vs. Rise of Syndicate this Sunday at 20:00 gametime, with a format of 5v5 or 9v9 at the request of R O S. I did not realize this weekend was double xp weekend, so I will get in contact with them to see if they might want to reschedule as many people might not want to turn away from whatever xp they are gaining to fight.

- Lastly, with the upcoming double XP weekend, ideas were discussed on what types of events or activities we could do. We have tentatively scheduled a competition for whoever gains the most XP during double XP weekend and I will look into ways to track this, potentially on runetracker or some other method. The prizes are 50m for whoever gains the most and 25m for whoever comes in second place. The prize money is 100% courtesy of Vince MD so be sure to thank him.

Senate Meeting Recap

September 14, 2017

- Clan Chat
Over the past few weeks, the levels of clan chat activity have been on a steep rise! This is essentially a great thing for us, as more people are getting involved, and newer members are continuing to "blend" or become accustomed with other clan members.

- EU Events
We have attempted to host a couple of events during earlier times, in hopes of getting to spend some time with our European clan members. Unfortunately, it seems that the issue may be that we do not have a large number of European clan members. Our Senate spoke about this and would like to put a bigger effort into recruitment of European players.

- Dungeoneering Events
A handful of people have been asking for clan Dungeoneering events! We hear you, and will be hosting Dungeoneering events more often. This is a great way for people to quickly gain XP, as well as to get involved and meet other clan members. Whether it is an impromptu event or a timely planned event, expect to see more activity/talks regarding the Dungeoneering skill. After all, we do have a Dungeoneering voice channel!

- Senate Changes
Last but not least, I would like to announce some changes/additions we have made within The Roman Empire Senate. Congratulations to Laina on the transfer from her previous Aedile position to becoming our new Praetor! She will be the new person in charge of handling disputes between clan members and/or guests (Essentially like a clan Human Resources department). Congratulations to Varrick on his promotion to Aedile! Aediles have the responsibility of hosting/planning events. Congratulations to Vince MD & workdolphin on their promotions to Tribune! Tribunes have the responsibilities of clan growth, the welcoming of newer clan members, and recruitment.
