-- Meeting Recap for 7/25/2017 --

Tonight's meeting was fairly brief and contained familiar topics of discussion.

Recap:

- After stating the need to find a new Princeps Senatus at last week's clan meeting, SidInsane
had seen assumed that role in one of many senatorial administration changes that occurred in the last week. Along with SuaveyMojo sliding over to Aedile, Dalton to Quaestor, Rrapid was recently appointed to be a Tribune and FadedDankBro and Elijvh swapped roles, as Elijvh became a Tribune and Faded went to be an Aedile. Only a few days after these whirlwind of changes, the senate has already taken strides in the right direction.

- The initial sweeping of the member's list will be done before the end of the month, focusing primarily on those that have been very inactive and unseen for a while, with having done very little in their time in TRE. For example those with little to no clan xp, or little to no denarius. Once this initial sweep is done, it will allow for us to have a better idea of the actual size of our clan and focus on recruitment as our main goal for the month ahead.

event this Saturday at 9est!!!!!! Depending on the turn out, we can divide into teams. We will decide the teams before we start the event. Not only will you guys be able to split your loot in your teams, but the team that gets the highest loot at the end of the hour, will receive an extra 5m! -

Barbarian Assault Clan Event!


Here's an opportunity to gain a lot of bonus XP in Agility, Mining, and Firemaking with your clanmates! This will be held this Friday evening at 8PM EST on July 28th.

Barbarian Assault requires teams of 5 people. Due to that requirement, please message me on Discord or in-game to let me know if you are interested in coming, so I can create a list of people on here. -

Senate Meeting Recap
July 30th

Events

Discussed new potential events for the near future as well new rules/format for current events. I would also like to thank all the aediles for having an excellent week of events keep up the great work! Congrats to SuaveyMojo and FadedDankBro for becoming Aediles last week.

Clan Alliances

Last night I may have found us an ally clan to do events with like PvM GWD2 competitions/clan race for kills, Barb assault and more!. I'll be contacting their clan overseer today or tomorrow depending if he (PeP Warrior) is on.

Citadel

I asked the senate's opinion on what citadel upgrades they would like to see in the near future (second avatar was the biggest hit), sadly our quaestor superier couldnt make it to express him opinion and thoughts about the citadel. However in the next few days im hoping we'll be able to discuss the upkeep/upgrades to the citadel so we're on the same page.

Tribunes

The tribunes have been doing a sensational job at helping the newer members with questions and etc. In this meeting we emphasized the importance of discord for our members.

It was a relatively short meeting and I appeciate everyone coming! Also these senate meetings are open to everyone so please if you would like to join us do so.

Tonight's meeting was a bit of an odd-ball, as the citadels are apparently broken and no one was able to get in. Instead, we had a somewhat oldschool-style meeting and met at my POH in Yanille, harking back to the meetings of old.

Recap:

- With the final month of the summer upon us, a goal for August has been set with a focus on recruitment. Finishing the summer on a very positive and uphill note will be crucial as we expect to have some members who will be less active once September and a new semester of school roll around.

- Events were another topic of discussion, as Varrick questioned about the requirements to host an event, to which it was reiterated that anyone can host an event and that the best way to advertise an event is either through discord or through the clan chat ingame. We also mentioned that the recent pick-up in events over the past two weeks has really been great to see and made me feel good about the progress we made over the month of July. Having these consistent events allows for better member-retention and will really help when we start having a greater influx of new members.
