Hey, i have this idea for when you recruit someone to the clan.

Let me say this again, hopefully to make it less confusing.

I am talking about the clan roster list for in game, where it shows, your recruit rank to deputy ranks and guests if you have any etc.

When you invite someone to clan either using clan vex or the invite icon from clan icon, it gets broadcast automaticaly in clan.

Players can leave the clan chat channel, using the chat channel icon in clan icon tab, or whatever it is called.

You have the players who leave by using the clan chat channel icon. then later on leave that clan fully. when you invite to the clan, it doesnt show them in the clan roster in game list but just joined clan.

My idea is to reset the log in chat channel, so that way it shows up on the roster in game list.

Does that make sense? i hope so :) ?

I'm having a little trouble understanding your description of the situation--

When we recruit people, the Clan System broadcast is pretty immediate in terms of saying that someone's officially joined the clan. And within seconds of seeing the broadcast, the in-game clan channel roster adds the little recruit icon next to that person's name.

When someone leaves the clan completely, they no longer show up as a recruit+ in the clan channel, though I haven't checked with the onsite list of clan members.

Are you referring to the Runescape website? Or the in-game clan channel roster? If there's anything about my situation I've described that doesn't seem familiar, or if it's not what you're talking about, then say so :)

Ur talking about the broadcast system...

Do u mean that when a players join they sometimes not in clan chat but when you have broadcast on for invited, it is broadcasted but the person is in the clan but not chat? Ceecs - leader of Ceecs Clan

Sorry, but I am also struggling to understand :(

Are talking about delays in new recruits appearing in the list of clan members accessed via Settings? If so, I have not had this problem. As soon as we recruit we award Corporal rank (Recruit is saved for muting) and I've never experienced a delay in a new member being listed.

I'm surprisingly relieved it wasn't just me that was confused :P

One time my clannie said, "I don't think that Vivy is that nooby, but then she says something that changes my mind" in the clan channel.

Shortly thereafter...

Her: I'm helping a friend do rots, she's trying to solo it
Me: Oh dang, good luck to her!! I know that quest took you a while so hopefully she won't get as stuck
Her: ...What're you talking about?
Me: Wait...what's rots? I thought it was Ritual of the...ohwaitmahjarratdoesn'tstartwithans...

In my attempt to look like I knew what she was talking about, I tried so hard but lost it all, and in the end, it didn't even matter.

Guys, hes saying when you recruit someone who left the chat in their prev clan then left, they're not in the clan chat when you recruit them. Then you got your clannies spamming welcome and they're not even in the cc. 'Clan roster list' = Clan chat.

He wants to have it so it resets if you're in cc or not when you lave clan. I'm sure some of you have had that moment where this happens and you have to explain to the new recruit how to join the cc.

After a second read through, it makes a lot more sense. So, for anyone who missed it, Severn made it much clearer.

This would be really nice to update.

Sometimes its really confusing to explain to new clan members that they need to join the clan chat channel because they had previously left it while in their old clans. ~ Sicariu

severn, yes that was what i was trying to say, the clan spams,welcome etc but yet the new recruit to the clan, is not in clan chat because they are still in the clan chat channel and when they leave the clan fully, it clears it, so you dont have to explain how to re enter the clan by clicking on the clan chat channel icon etc
