Taking a look at the Google Doc posted above, it looks like a lot of work once the surveys are in. I think there should be more multiple choice and yes/no options rather than so many "how do you feel" and "why" questions.

For instance, the "What aspect do you enjoy/not enjoy" questions. You could list several expected reasons someone may or may not enjoy their clan, and list a final option as "other, please explain". This could significantly cut down on people feeling like they are completing an essay test in school as well as help group responses by category.

Rather than just asking "Why did you pick those clans", you could list several options with "other, please explain" as the final one. (e.g, a friend invited me, I wanted a bigger/smaller clan, they were the first to invite me, the leader is really cool, etc)

Will you be posting a thread on the General Forum? While I see a lot of regular posters there, I'd venture a guess that most RS players don't check there for new information regularly, or at least not as often as Recent Updates, which this wouldn't fall under. And I know for a fact that most people in my clan don't use social media for RS information, aside from the occasional look at Reddit, usually for information relating to a recent update they are interested in, or when prompted by someone else who found an interesting topic there.

Will you relate the number of responses as a percentage of RS players (or clans, for the leader survey)? If only a small percentage of the player base responds, can that really properly reflect the rest of the base, many of which may not even be aware of a survey to complete?

This is coming out very soon now. It has been a huge undertaking to get the content, the flow, the logistics and the networking established. Thanks to the team and everyone who has commented for all the help.

1 No we are intentionally including qualitative questions and have experience in qualitative data analysis and content analysis techniques;
2 Circulation - yes we have established multiple means for circulating this as well as multiple formats for responding, e.g. for those who are phobic of social media;
3 Yes the sample we achieve may not be representative of the population, that is a risk and also happens elsewhere, e.g. reddit.

Thanks for the late token response Noeticus (nearly 2 weeks after I'd posted). Too bad you couldn't provide the details I requested. A bit more transparency would be nice.

Honestly, from what I can see, this survey appears to be more of a personal project conducted by a few individuals rather than a collaborative effort among clan leaders.

I always welcome honesty, and open discussion. It is true that at the final end of the project, there are only a few people who have edit control of the first survey, but that does not mean it was how the ideas and concepts were formed. That part was very collaborative. Also the 2nd survey is still open for anyone to work on.

Much of the delay in getting the questions into google forms as an online survey has been in moving it away from a personal google drive to a g suite drive. In a personal google drive you either share with anyone with the link to edit or to view. This exposes the final survey to change by persons who do not want it to go ahead, where someone can simply give them the link. With a g suite drive, yes it is a small group of collaborators but the members are not CLC or CLD specific, there are no "sides" to align with.

To me, it is unfortunate that protective measures have had to be taken, but a few people seem to have the mentality that the are on a crusade to disrupt anything associated with me as the perceived owner of CLC. Rest assured however that the survey in its final form will be available for clan leaders in here to look over before it is released.

I hope that addresses your concern. Sorry you felt my response was token. I did not feel the need for a verbose answer but feel free to ask for more information on any of the points. I am not sure of what the "details" you requested were? If you don't mind and it is possible may I ask you to re-post what you feel isn't addressed, and myself or someone else in the team may be able to elaborate and clarify it more.
