To be honest, I don't really mind what the name of my clan is, so long as it doesn't convey a community that I don't want to be mistakenly identified with--for example, I wouldn't feel comfortable in a clan named "OSRS," for one, since I'd feel like a fraud
Names not as important as the people within it, and after all these years people are used to it. Secretly I'd love a doctor who related name, Perhaps Gallifrey or Trenzalore.
Names matter. It's called "Branding". After so long, you shouldn't change it. Pick one thing and settle on it. Otherwise, people be like, "who're they?", and "where'd such and so clan go?"... Don't need that. No thanks. Get your name changes done in the first year of growth if at all.
Clan:
Clans develop their own culture. As Zyphix said, within the first year of clan development, a clan culture is established. Once this is done, a clans name becomes a part of that culture. I'd say if i Had the choice to change to anything else, I'd click the Cancel button and keep ours. After 8 years as a clan, our name is a part of who we are.
