We suggested Vis Wax to help with Citadel Capping and we were told it wasn't possible due to the citadel being spaghetti code. Now it's on SGS, as an MTX item.
You were not told vis wax resets were not possible due to spaghetti code; we did say that a reset was complicated, but the focus of the discussion was around resets and letting people cap twice, rather than quicker capping which would have led to a very different discussion.

Nope - that has significant design considerations from a Citadel point of view and relative build/maintenance costs that double speed for the same resource does not. Hence we did not say no to the reset idea but it was added to the list.

Reset is more technically difficult, as I understand it without a Mod Maz present to correct me, than a double amount, but there are serious design considerations for both.

While player facing there might be a similar result that is not the case backstage, so to speak. Also it is not the same result as the currently implemented Citadel booster that does not impact those design considerations and functions at all.

We did not say we would not do it - on the suggestion thread on which it was originally posted we said we would add it to the potential list but it needed a design overview and then we would to poll it to CLF. There are limited resources at any one point for both design and development and this is on the list but not going to bounce ahead of items like Invention currently.

While player facing there might be a similar result that is not the case backstage, so to speak. Also it is not the same result as the currently implemented Citadel booster that does not impact those design considerations and functions at all.
No ofc it isnt the same as the bank boosters but thats already out and presumably wasnt difficult to achieve from a technical stand point so to me from a technical it looks like its just as easy to double our max cap like it was just as easy to allow us to gain 2x resources.
As fore mentioned cap reset was said to be difficult technically to do then doubling our max cap has the same results but seems more of a possibility.
