My clan has experienced trolls periodically. Our solution was to set guest kick controls where anyone all the way to recruit can kick a disruptive guest. It's been much easier for me to apologize to a guest than have troll drama.

Additionally we asked officers to mute guest chat when they'd invade. All they could do is sit in silence which was no fun. Both have been very effective solutions for us. Hope this helps. Fealty Stars Clan Founding Owner, 20/04/2012

what about some prevention in place for members of clans listed as "enemy clans" on the signpost? Example: Members of Clan A are harrassing Clan B, Clan B lists them as an enemy clan - now, none of Clan A's registered members can enter Clan B's chat unless they left Clan A and had to wait an entire week for that enemy clan status to wear off.

It would definitely take a lot of the chutzpah out of trolling clans if they had to endure a 7 day wait to bother people. lol

We'll have a look at this one - there are some data issues, given where that data is stored and when and where it is accessible to the Guest Clan Chat system but it might be possible. Personally I have been in a similar situation the issue is not people coming in abusing its about how you handle what happed to have people doing this .I first hand have been caught up in so much clan drama's. you need to know not everyone in a clan will attack . sometimes its happens because you have deep seeded hatred from betrayal from my experience its better to talk like men/woman and sort it and move on cause its not healthy for either clan. and if its clan leaders against each other that's not a leadership trait . you need to think of your clan members sometimes before your self when it comes to leaders fighting your clan needs to be number one over the hate

Thank you, Ceecs! I am encouraged by the fact that the idea has come up and was at one time being looked into (almost 3 years ago).

Hopefully the reminder that others are asking similar questions will prompt Jagex to check the status of this request and at least confirm whether or not it's been confirmed to be possible.

Yes, I think if the clan has the issue with certain other clan sending army of trolls, it would be useful to block them all. And if some few are the innocent guest from the same clan... I think we asked for the clan whitelists, for a long time? It would help to make an exception. Also, we can say to this nice guest: it's up to you what kind of community you choose. If you prefer to stay with trolls, you pay the price, sorry buddy.

Btw, I would use this blocking tool sometimes temporarily before and during the competition with the other clan because few times I noticed some funny people spying on us during the challenge (-:

This happens, not often, but sadly it does happen. It has happened to us in the past.

Indeed, without naming names, some members of the CLF (that many of you would recognize) have used falsehoods and half-truths to nudge some of their clan-members to perpetrate these attacks in a coordinated fashion against our clan in the past.

I am thankful that it seems many clans have never experienced this firsthand, but for those of us that have, it can be a very difficult situation to resolve - especially when the leader(s) of the offending clan are the ones orchestrating it and refuse to be reasonable (you wouldn't believe some of the screenshots we have of this from past issues - extremely blatant).

Long story short, I fully support this (if it is possible) for the rare situations that it is necessary.
