You know something? That's amazing.

I have been a returned member for a year now, and until now I didn't know that. I don't think I have ever clicked on the raf button, probably cos I have no friends :( (((

I mentioned this in our cc, and of the 20 or something clannies online at the time, not one was aware of it either. Obviously they have no friends either :( (((

Thank you for the tip, this certainly helps.

But it does beg the question of Jagex:

Why not simply shift the link to somewhere, like the edge of the minimap, where it is more obvious? And therefore much more likely to be used for the purpose we want? I failed to keep my New Year's resolution before I even made it.

Well it most certainly is, the RS official forums are massive to clans & when you have to explain how to get to the forums to locate recruitment thread, certainly a big community issue and i see no reason why community issues cant be discussed on here, clans, community same thing.

To sum it all up, the forums are not exactly brimming with activity, a few easier to see links from the main game wouldnt go a miss. My thoughts are from the lobby as one option, also if youre not in a clan a direct link to forums in the clan tab (not sure if that already exists or not?)

I want to extend further also to how the clan info screenis accessed on legacy mode (an issue i brought up previously) the clan tabs are grouped together meaning you have to open that first, its such a hassle when wanting to get to clan info or invite a player.

I think he means the RSOF, rather than clan forums (but it seems some of those who have replied aren't aware that one already exists for clan forums).

You can link from your vex to your clan forums and from your clan forums to your RSOF recruitment thread. This means that the RSOF (and your recruitment thread on it) are only a total of 2 clicks away.

You can have the vex direct to a thread which contains the exact same contents as your recruitment thread and/or a link to your RSOF recruitment thread. I don't see how it could be made better or easier to direct players to that info. :)

As for an in-game button to direct to the RSOF in general, that's indeed something that I would support and would be great to allow the community to engage more with the RSOF (not a clan related matter though).

Even less people know about the clan forum accessed by the vex. I actually never mention this clan forum to clannies because usually people just end up more confused.

The RSOF already provide us with sections for clan discussion and clan recruitment. Having the clan forum seems to me to be an utter waste that adds nothing but the potential to confuse. It's pointless duplication.

I have been using these forums for years, I'm used to them. But the majority of our clannies have had very little to do with the RSOF, which have been slowly dwindling in importance and activity. Just getting them to post on our clan threads is an effort which is needlessly complicated to explain in clan chat.

Let's encourage people to use the RSOF by making it easy for them to access it. I failed to keep my New Year's resolution before I even made it.

I agree that being able to link directly to our recruitment threads on the RSOF (and not just to the clan forums) from the vex would be both sensible and useful.
