There's a few problems with the game related to clans, 1 is the lack of PvP, which nobody does because it's boring frankly. A point of view, but obviously shared with most people, since most people don't do it. Yes making range and mage more powerful made it more interesting in a PvM sense but at the cost of PvP. Range and mage should never be as powerful as melee, melee doesn't have the ability to cause damage from a distance for a start, and it has 2 skills required for damage Attack and Strength.
Another is minigames, minigames have died out partly due to that community ^ having gone, the ones willing to waste time on fun rather than grinding out xp for the sake of gaining xp.
Don't get me wrong I don't hate the game I like many of the new features that RS3 has brought but, combat is not one of them despite myself voting FOR EoC, I know it won't change now but PvP will never be brought back with the way it is now. If Jagex think differently then they're foolish, that's why Old School is more popular.
I didn't even engage in PvP but I realise how fundamental it was to all other aspects of the game.
Clans, after the above issues is where I rank clans and since nothing is being or can be done with them, then this is the highest priority, clans are the next best thing that brings the community together, ironman is nice and all making it more like how it used to be before the grand exchange, but it removes the vital part of the old game which was the trading and interacting that actually made people social.
People are like drones now, but they don't have to be, focusing on clans, and clan related content would make the game more alive if Jagex just had the insight for the long term for once.
And by the way it doesn't make us any us more complacent when you ask for suggestions and then you then tell us why you can't do each one because of the lack of resources. Like GREAT, what was the point.
