1) How did you first find out about clans and how did you become involved with your current clan?
I can't remember my first clan, I'd been involved with a castle wars clan extensively (when fcs) and have been in a few over the years. Seen some of the leaders of some in here - all very nice people and clans!
I decided I wanted to lead my own though, so founded The Freakshow back early 2016. A lot of influence from clans I've been in with my own twists.
2) Do you doubt on your abilities from time to time?
I don't know if I'd say doubt abilities, but I do definitely feel stressed trying to handle things at times. Luckily I have a very solid group with me, but even still it can feel overwhelming at times, for sure.
3) Are you able to control your anger when a member does something very wrong?
I haven't had issues with this, I'm quite laid back and don't really lose my cool much. Takes quite a bit to get me to react in a negative way.
Plus, I wouldn't want to flip out over small things - way too much drama if I did!
4) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?
I can't say I have.
5) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?
I don't think I would at this point, I like leading too much. Even if I joined a different clan, I would want to look for some type of opportunity to help with leadership things.
6) Do you talk with members using other sites/programmers?
We have been using discord, seems to get most of it done along with clan forums for those not on it. Considered trying to do some other type of off-site, but a good bit more effort too.
7) What are your clans requirements for new members?
We only ask that people be members of the game, tough to do events/cit/interact when everyone else would be on other worlds and things that are mostly members anyway.
I like questions, so continued.

I took a lot of the idea for our ranking from when I was a member of another clan, led by Irri.
We use points, which you can get from citadel visits/caps, event attendance/organization, and xp earned. With those points, we do automatic ranks up to Lieutenant, weekly ranking when someone hits the threshold. Beyond that, we vote on people for ranks. Partially based off points, but more so about how someone interacts with the points as a backdrop. Then if someone is ranked up, they stay at that rank at least two weeks, that second week they can be considered for next. Then if someone was going above and beyond, I'm never opposed to a little quicker.
I think it's a nice mix of going semi-quick, but not seeming like ranks are completely meaningless either.
9) What kind of events does your clan like to do?
We really do try to do a wide variety of things. I personally think it's a mistake to ignore parts of the game (not everyone's pov
), so I try to reflect that in events. I guess the one exception is we've never done rago/raids/rots. But we've done most other bosses, I think every group d&d at least once - though most more, a few pvp events, minigames, and plenty of for fun events. The one area is like to explore more is using discord for some more for fun or outside of runescape things. We shall see!
10) Does your clan have a clan citadel? (If so, what tier?)
Yep! We're tier 5, about a third of the way to tier 6.
