There is a channel on YT called "Alt Shift X" that does great videos on the series. I recommend watching every single one, but beware that they have book spoilers of plot lines not in the show completely. I remember someone describing the series to me maybe a few years before the TV show came out, I should read them :P

I may be the only person on the entire planet who has no interest in Game of Thrones whatsoever... I'm just not into soap operas, even when they include sex and violence.

I don't either. Someone I work with just finished the book earlier today, and recommended it to me. But I was like "Naah..."

In my case, it's possibly because I feel as if anything that popular can't be really good. :P
