Hey
Lisaa
!! I recognize you from the regular forums, and thank you for the warm welcome ^_^

And ah, so I'd go to that thread--thanks for the information :)

Where you think there is a thread that requires moderation for some reason this is the place to post it - not in the Flag A Concern thread.

Most often you will not get a reply directly - rather moderation will be taken in the CLF, where required.
LOL WHY IS THE TITLE SO MISLEADING. You'd think the Escalation thread is for more serious matters, and that the Raise A Concern thread is for more minor concerns. Excuse me wat

I find these titles far from misleading, though the OP in the Concern thread could be a bit clearer now that the Moderation thread has been in use for almost a year.

The Flag a Concern thread is for flagging significant clan issues where Jmod intervention is required, while the CLF Moderation Escalation thread is used only for reporting issues within the Clan Leader Forums themselves, hence CLF Moderation in the title.

Hope that clears things up.

Also, welcome new CLFers! :D

, looking at just the "CLF Moderation" part of the title, that makes a lot more sense now--thanks for the clarification! ^_^

(It'd be a lot clearer if the "Escalation" part were excised, though, since escalating things is when something trivial quickly becomes very grave.)

And thanks for the welcome--I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of you and to meeting the new CLF posters as well. I'm really excited to hear about your emotional and social insights in regards to dealing with people both on an individual and group level.

By the way, I'm going to fill out that little introductory form that the OP has on the first page, so that others can follow suit and we can get to know each other better.

1) How did you first find out about clans and how did you become involved with your current clan?

I was active in Runescape and on the forums 2009-2011ish, and quit after the Triumvirate was disbanded. Then was where I had bumped into Corugi and Sookie Lala in the Rants forums. I came back to Runescape last December 2015 and was recruited by Corugi since he was so welcoming, and because the rest of The Name's clannies also received me so warmly. The sense of humor was also one that I really appreciated since it was so forthright.

2) Do you doubt on your abilities from time to time?

Socially-speaking online, not really. My posts are pretty genuine, and as such, if something blows up in my face, I normally don't regret what I posted or typed, because I already was acting like myself.

3) Are you able to control your anger when a member does something very wrong?

Yes, because my impulse is to find out why they did it and to make them realize that I respect them otherwise, but that I'm severely disappointed in a certain behavior or response that doesn't define them. I blame the situation and not the personality, and if it does so happen the personality is at fault, I'm pretty honest about it and will find the courage to tell them about it, if I care enough about them.

4) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?

lolno, or at least, not one that I've been able to remember ;)

5) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?

Not sure what the question behind this question is--I'd say I'm still kind of a recruit, since admittedly I don't know how to manage a citadel. Sookie Lala deals with that stuff, and I'm a deputy owner whose forte is socializing and acknowledging others, as well as inviting people to our clan.

6) Do you talk with members using other sites/programmes (aka skype, facebook, etc.)

Fb with 1, Skype with 1, RS Twitter with those who have one (2), and about 6 of us in /r/thenamers.

7) What are your clans requirements for new members?

Be respectful. Also, what I really admire about my clan is how no one person has the authority to kick another, regardless of rank. It must be discussed first, also to promote transparency.

8) How does your clan handle ranking?

Capping, knowledge, past/potential behavior, maturity, and respect. For example, I help Sookie to promote a welcoming and genuine clan environment; we treat out guests with a lot of respect and we welcome them. Sookie is very deliberate about it, and as such I strive to emulate such conscious and mindful intentions. We also don't pressure them to join, but we do highly encourage it ;)

9) What kind of events does your clan like to do?

Burthorpe Games Room, Dungeoneering, shenanigans, and tomorrow Thursday we're doing Pyramid Plunder. I honestly love my clanmates, they're hilarious. Oh yeah, and one time they were having a grand time at Prif tryna embarrass each other, and being the noob I am I was missing out. :'(

10) Does your clan have a clan citadel? (If so, what tier?)
Tier 6 :) We had a drop party there a few weeks ago and it was pretty fun. It was also hilarious, because of the people who were able to attend, and everyone had a really good time :D

Okay Vivy, there's one last trial before you're officially initiated into the cult of the CLF.

This is a long-standing tradition that new CLF members must participate in. Passed down from generation to generation with the founder of this almighty tradition being Ryanc. You must watch this video to completion:

what the actual flying duck???

I had to put the speed on x2 and tap my right arrow button, by the way. I felt like a DJ, you should try it. And then eventually I resorted to flat out holding down my right arrow key, but I finished it, I guess?

Though, a few questions:
1) Who is Ryanc
2) Dude, Ryanc, are you mental?? What is up with you lmao looking forward to meeting you :D
3) Do clan leaders guest each other's clans? I used to do that during the Triumvirate, but all we had were fc's so I'd have to leave my post (so long as there were others ranks in The Judges) to build relations with The Lords and The Reavers
