Cookies won't distract me from this one. You've never played Skyrim? I am dissapointed in you!
It's an Ok game with great mods (for PC) albeit a sucky ending for the main game. DLCs are damn cool though, elder vampire (or whatever it is called) is fun!

Yea I haven't played Skyrim either... Sounds interesting but my computer can barely handle Runescape as it is so I doubt I'd ever try it out. :(

You got a console? If you have, or if your brother/sister/distant cousin etc has, I'd reccomend it. Though, as I say, don't expect a "big" final boss fight..

I haven't played Dragon Age (Assuming you're referring to Inquisition), but everything I'm coming up with says they're very similar. Combat in Skyrim is real-time, and it's an open-world map. A few of the quests have different paths you can follow to reach different results at the end of the quest series.

Haven't played much console or PC games besides RuneScape in awhile, been years in fact. My brother and I shared and I mean litterally - every console or portable gaming system under the sun, up until and including Xbox 360 era. :)

Used to watch E3 every year but I haven't in recent years...

Morrowind, Oblivion, great games.

It's funny looking back to when I first played RuneScape back when Classic was closing, and then again in 2005ish... and how we both thought it was such a revolutionizing game even compared to all the console games, with much better graphics and no lag lol - just because RS is an MMO. I still see it that way I think. Out of all the games I've played I think the amount of content in this one is just amazing.

Yes... And No.
(I've only played Inquisition)

Similarities:
Both are open world RPGs
You can have "followers" in both games
Massive worlds with fast travel enabled
Looks nice
Slow to start (in terms of story) but engaging story
Many many hours of gameplay to be had
Crafting in both games (though hugely different for both)

Differences:
DA you use "abilities" to do things, in Skyrim it's more of "just hit anything with the weapon you have"
Skyrim you level up certain abilities with what you use, which levels you up as a whole. DA it's more of levelling up altogether then putting a skill point somewhere.
Crafting is different.. As I say, you level up in skyrim. Higher level = better equipment and no hunting for crafting components (well, for the most part - you can buy them from a shop right next to the forge).
