Freud, that reminds me so much of a conversation I had with a beggar on F2P once X)
It was Halloween, and this guy wouldn't let the opportunity slide by.
Him: *Following me* Trick or treat!
Me: Huh? What?
Him: It's Halloween, you're supposed to give me things!
Me: Ummm...no.
Him: Plz?
Me: Nope
Him: Sharing is caring!
Me: Yeah and I don't care X)
Him: You're mean -.-

haha...I was just as mean to a begger one time. He had an herblore cape. Said he got lured and lost everything. He was spamming at the ge about how he had no money.
I started cutting the trees around there and either burning them and selling the ashes or selling the logs.
After about 10 minutes I told him - Dude, the entire time you have stood here begging I made 4K. Go earn some money.
You know what annoys me a lot? Those guys with Partyhats, Noxious, and T90 armor that will stand in the GE saying "Need 5m, charity is rewarded." They obviously know that they're manipulating people into thinking they'll get something big in return, yet they hide behind the excuse of begging to claim they can't be reported.

Yeah Shade, cutting normal logs is always the first thing I suggest when players ask for money. It's a great money maker for lower levels, it has no requirements, and it works for both F2P and P2P.

I've seen some people make 25k in 5 minutes by picking up raw chickens from the ground in F2P as there are plenty of bots killing them. They sold each chicken for 1,000gp each...

A while back I had a couple clanmates begging for money. It seems they had gambled away all of their own and were totally broke. Instead of giving them the money I gave them some royal dhide and my old duel wielding rune crossbows and showed them how to kbd..
They sold the gear I gave them and lost the cash gambling again. Needless to say they aren't in the clan anymore.

Gambling addiction.... Not a good thing. Good luck to them in life.

I wasn't in my clan during the gambling era, but I was given a very good history of the clan when I joined. Apparently our clan remained neutral to gambling until the P2P homeworld was infested with those bots that advertised gamblings friends chats and a Deputy lost everything to an untrustworthy host.
I was told that after that happened, an automatic kick rule was added against gambling, and the clan moved to World 60, which was kept free of gambling through a joint effort by the FC World60pengs and another clan called RS Addicts.
Fun useless history lessons for all
