I forget to check whether posting here ups my overall post count. I have 12,870 now, after this post, I should have 12,871 if posts here contribute.

Edit: HAHAHAHA YES, NO WONDER SO MANY NOOBS POST ON THE COUNTING THREAD. I take so much issue with how that's the most popular thread in the CLF but it's simultaneously hilarious, and I love that it gets lurkers posting :) So it's a good thread overall, but just omg infuriatingly pointless at face value. !!!!!

One time I was venting about how people post count farm in Forum Games with those "Count before a jmod/fmod/girl/phat" threads, and someone had a great comeback, actually--"Count to 10 before Viv breaks my heart. Oh wait, already lost." and then I felt a wee bit bad. :(

I still despise those types of threads, but I'll regularly post on the CLF one so long as I can contribute something other than a number.

Why do people have a problem with count threads? They don't do any harm what so ever.

Also only a very small portion of my 21202 forum posts come from that thread.

1) How did you first find out about clans and how did you become involved with your current clan?

I first joined a clan when the Clan update happened in 2011??? when clan citadels became a thing.

-
2) Do you doubt on your abilities from time to time?

No, I like to think that anything is achievable, and the only thing holding you back is how much you really want it.

-
3) Are you able to control your anger when a member does something very wrong?

Yes, i have a lot of patience, and try to always look at the bigger picture, even though in some situations, only an instakick will help :P

-
4) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?

Not that i can remember being specifically about the clan, but about scape and friends in it, yes.

-
5) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?

I really wouldnt be able to answer this, i love being a part of the community im in, and even though im a leader, i believe recruits are just as important as any rank.

-
6) Do you talk with members using other sites/programmes (aka skype, facebook, etc.)

Skype, Discord and facebook

-
7) What are your clans requirements for new members?

that they're friendly, mature, and helpful.

-
8) How does your clan handle ranking?

with an esteem system similar to clan fealty.

-
9) What kind of events does your clan like to do?

Everything from skilling to pvm to cards against humanity on an external site.

-
10) Does your clan have a clan citadel? (If so, what tier?)

Yes, currently at around 65% towards T7!

There are several reason I personally enjoy the count thread here on CLF.

It gives a sense of competitiveness. We are competing against the resident Jmods in our race to 50 before they post. Also I can't be the only one who hopes to get his clan's homeworld in the count (83 ftw).
It gives people of the CLF something to do who otherwise have no interest in what some of the other clans may be doing, or experiencing difficulty with. It gives them a reason to come back to the CLF on a regular basis rather than dismissing it as boring or forgetting about it completely.
Mostly though it's just plain fun. The way the Jmods and CLFers interact on the count thread is fun and relaxed.

My clan's homeworld is 12, however because I'm not from NZ or Australia I get 400 ping on that world, so my personal homeworld is 23. This also helps because I can summon an avatar and not clash with anyone on the clan world :)
