I hate name changes... Especially when someone quits for a year or so then comes back, changes their name twice and PMs you being all "Hey! Remember me?"
How am I supposed to remember you after a year and two name changes. No, go die.

I've stopped trying to keep up with name changes. I don't even change names on the forums or our runetrack competition. If they want to change their names multiple times in a month then they can suffer the consequences.

I've changed my name nearly every chance but I'll always remain a 'sofa'. I've promiced my clan i'd always be a 'sofa', and it makes things less confusing lol.

Oh god. This happens to me so much. Usually the players have quit for years. They say "I was in your clan"... I've been a big part of about 5 clans. They change their name when they return to the game for a fresh start.

In the past week or so there's been a increase with 3 players doing this to me.

Often I didn't even know them at the time as they were just a regular member of an 100+ clan who logged in once every 2 weeks.

But they remember me because of my memorable name which hasn't changed.

I'm tempted to change my name... just so I don't get these "remember me!!!" people haha.
