okies, mr mej needs some advice here.
we've been having this issue on our facebook group since maybe july 24th, and recently made a rule on september 7th to end it.
this issue is caused by one of our overseers, who has been inactive since March because he broke his laptop monitor and wont get it fixed. nor will he even attempt to hook up to his hd tv or get on at a friends house every once in a while to say hi. he got on maybe once after i demoted him for inactivity AND security reasons (much like how some groups have their status removed after a couple months, i did the same with this).
ANYWAY, he posted TONES of shares from random pages on our group wall, many people asked him to stop, he refused. us admins made a rule, vote was 8-3...he complied (in a childish like manner). All was good until yesterday when he posted on the admins page he's gonna get drunk and post random pictures (knowingly gonna violate the rule). He does it at midnight my time, drunk too. he was warned from breaking the rule earlier that day, and so this time it goes on his clan record. Our admin procs says i should actually kick him for the number of posts he made (drunk and knowingly doing it), however im being lenient and only remove his overseer.
so he's removed for inactivity and knowingly violating the rules, which are above even the highest of ranks in the clan. However, in doing so, one of the other overseers is whining saying "we're bending the rules and being dictators, there was no vote or evidence posted to vote on". Yes there was, however it's not an issue which concerns the overseers or lower ranks, so those that have an actual say did vote on it.
So now, i need advice on what to do. appletheelf, kinky spengo and I need advice. We need to uphold our guidelines and rules we made and voted on as a team....but we are a team, and the deputies ONLY outrank lower ranks if they are being actioned and we are actioning them.
since when is following admin procs make you the bad guy?
Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
