Hi fellow Clan Owners! My name is Sam, Clan Owner of Dark Dreams! While I have been a clan leader for some time now I have only recently decided to join this forum. So without further adieu, I present to you my answers to the intro questionnaire. I probably will only answer the first part, and save the second until someone asks for it.

1)Do you see yourself as the most important person of the clan?

I do not think that I am the most important person in the clan, but I think that it is always a good thing if everyone strives to be the most important in a positive and perhaps slightly competitive way. At the end of the day, even if you are not the most important, all the work that you put into the clan will be beneficial.

2)Have you ever kicked a person from your clan that you considered as a personal friend?

No for one simple reason, if any person in my clan needs to be kicked, or behaves in a manner that warrants a kick, they are not the type of people that I would want to be friends with. I am pretty tolerant of most things and a pretty easy going guy. It takes quite a bit to push my buttons.

3) Are you able to control your anger when a member does something very wrong?

As stated above I am quite an easy going fellow. It would take something monumental to get a rise out of me.
-That being said I am now writing this as I am rounding question 13, and I am mildly certain I could stab someone right now! :p

4) Do you rank up people fast?

Well this is a slightly ambiguous question. Is it asking if I rank based on favoritism? Ranking "fast" is a general term and means nothing unless you contextualize it. We have a ranking system in my clan, but to type all that out right now would give me a headache. The basic gist however is that ranking is based off work and loyalty, not favoritism.

5) Do you talk with members using other sites/ programmes? (aka skype, facebook etc.)

I do not. I am probably one of the few folks my age that never use Facebook, Skype, ect. Besides playing Runescape I am not very tech savvy.

6) Have you ever considered quitting your clan?

I consider it on occasion, not going to lie about that. One of the best feelings is being able to put in a good amount of work, gain the admiration of your fellow clan mates and earn ranks. Now that thrill is gone, replaced with a feeling that is different, but rivals the first in pure awesomeness. Now instead of just belonging to a clan as a brother or a sister, you get to experience the feeling of ownership, in the same way that a parent feels about their child. Ok probably overstated there, but it is late and I decided to take poetic license for a while. :)

7) Do you discuss clan problems with the whole clan and not only with the high ranked members?

Minor clan issues are free for all my Officers (Admin+) to discuss, and I regularly try and talk with them about various clan happenings. However the real meaty issues are saved for the Keys to discuss first, then bring the ideas to other Officers once they have been better fleshed out.

8) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?

Even though my clan is named Dark Dreams, I have never had a dream about them. I rarely dream when I sleep, at least, I do not remember them when I wake up.

9) Do you think your clan is the best clan in RuneScape?

Statistics would say no, but then again someone has to be number 1...

10) Does your clan stop you from playing other games?

I do not really feel the urge to play other games. I love Runescape, and until that love fades I will continue to play a crazy amount each day.

11) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?

No. Once I created my own clan, and was successful at it, there was no turning back.

12) Do you doubt on your abilities as clan leader from time to time?

I doubt myself for a nanosecond, and then I regroup. Doubt is not something that I carry with me. I am confident in my abilities, and in the good members that I have working with me. If I screw up and make a terrible mistake I know they are always there to pick up my slack.

13) Do you attend all the events your clan has in a week?

I attend exactly zero events! I am not a fan of events in general, in the rare circumstances where an event meets up perfectly with what I am doing at that moment, sure I will drop by. But when I get into the zone I do not like to change up what I am doing.

14) Do you always read the applications new members post before accepting them?

Not always. While we do have applications in my clan, they are not mandatory. Not only does reading the application tell you information about a member, it also tells you that first off, this person cares enough to fill out the thing, and that has got to count for something!

15) Are you happy with your clan as it is now?

Of course! We recruit more and more people each day, up to 277 at the moment, and we are getting nearer and nearer to tier 7 each week, 72 visitors this week! Are there things that could be better? Sure. But such is life. Nothing is ever completed and perfect.

Wow! That ended up being longer than I first anticipated! Hope this allows you guys to learn a little bit about me and what I am about. In the coming adventures together in the Clan Leader Forum, I hope to learn a little about you in return!

they're just javascript addons that can enhance forum usage.

one example is the "hey pest" thing i posted there, that was generated by a button i coded...and another is the signatures. i dont have to type them in..they're auto-added. although i could press the signature button and generate it for fun
