they're just javascript addons that can enhance forum usage.

one example is the "hey pest" thing i posted there, that was generated by a button i coded...and another is the signatures. i dont have to type them in..they're auto-added. although i could press the signature button and generate it for fun

Howyd all! I'm new to these forums, but my sign is cancer so I know I'll grow on people.

1) Do you see yourself as the most important person of the clan?

- Absolutely not. HLPRS was formed on Dec 1, 2010 and we formed on the basic principle that all people are equally important, just some have qualities that let them fulfill job spots to keep the clan operational.

2) Have you ever kicked a person from your clan that you considered as a personal friend?

- Yes. Also, when a person leaves or gets kicked and comes back, they start at the bottom again. Ranks don't matter to us, we only use them because the game forces us to.

3) Are you able to control your anger when a member does something very wrong?

- OMG!!! Why did you even ask this?! Truly jk, yes.

4) Do you rank up people fast?

- Rank system bugs me at the moment. We needed avatar wardens and the best candidates at the time were corporals, so they went from corporal to admin just to have warden title. I pray that title gets untied from the rank soon.

5) Do you talk with members using other sites/ programmes? (aka skype, facebook etc.)

- I plead the 5th. How does it make sense that we can talk about 3rd party sites and whatnot in forums but not in game?

6) Have you ever considered quitting your clan?

- I consider "my clan" as the original one I became a part of way back in late '07. In that long of a time, the thought of quitting is inevitable.

7) Do you discuss clan problems with the whole clan and not only with the high ranked members?

- This is a tough one. I do what I can to give everyone a say in what happens to their clan, but it's difficult to have a democracy when the public doesn't care what happens to them. It is very difficult to get 1/4 of the clanmates to vote on something.

8) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?

- If the dream dies, so does my will to login game. Actually that's a bit drastic. My hopes for the clan have changed a lot, but it's always possible to happen someday. What happens when the goal is achieved? Probably the same thing as what the dog does when it grabs a good hold of the car... Hang on and try to survive until the next stop sign.

9) Do you think your clan is the best clan in RuneScape?

- I've not experienced another clan, so I'm in no position to have an opinion about it.

10) Does your clan stop you from playing other games?

- To be fully honest, with the major drastic changes RS has done in the past 12 months, I've been doing what I can to remain around so those who have gone to other games have a familiar place to come back to if they so choose.

11) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?

- Possibilities always exist.

12) Do you doubt on your abilities as clan leader from time to time?

- I always tell my clanmates that if they see me power hungry or abusive or annoying, to let me know and I'll take either leave of absence or step down if they vote it necessary.

13) Do you attend all the events your clan has in a week?

- We don't have anyone at the moment who dedicates their time to orchestrating events. Our values are such that IRL is #1, and no events are ever mandatory to remain in clan.

14) Do you always read the applications new members post before accepting them?

- I've never used an application process.

15) Are you happy with your clan as it is now?

- The clan mates, yes, though I do miss many who've left due to irl issues, game changing too drastically, game not working on their comps... The clan infrastructure needs much more flexibility, such as avatar wardens shouldn't be able to change ranks/motif/motto.

Questionnaires are a good place to start imo.

1) What kind of events does your clan like to do?

- My vision of the clan is having a team leader for each area of the game, so that one team hosts penguin hide & seek tours, another team goes on bossing trips... Every team's purpose would be to teach players "how to", and it'd be a reliable source of ingame info for those who can't or won't goto 3rd party sites.
What do we actually do at the moment though? Our most regular "event" is Citadel Party, where ppl gather to make upkeep asap after build tick.

2) How old is your clan and how long have you been leading it?

- I'd say the clan started in roughly september of 2007, but we didn't have a name to call ourselves. When the fc owner left, I took it upon myself to keep the spirit alive and gave us the name HLPRS on Dec 1st, 2010.

3) How does your clan handle ranking?

-After many attempts, I'm not sure it's possible to connect to clan forum. :(

4) Does your clan have any requirements for new members?

- Not a single one. Our door is always open and people can only be kicked for breaking jagex rules or not gaining xp for a certain length of time. We don't like holding onto "shell accounts", one that someone doesn't use anymore.

5) Do you have many admin+ ranks in your clan?

- More than I'd like.

6) Does your clan have a clan citadel?

- Tier 3 but T7 would be nice to see someday, though we're not iron fist about it.

7) What updates would you like to see in the future to help run/ improve your clan?

- osrs & eoc chats merge. Add a signpost at citadel/clan camp for admin+ to keep track of clanmate Fealty. Add hitching posts to cover areas, particularly agility courses, so the warden can go into The Pit and all clanmates get 6% in that area (on all floors), not just 10 spaces away. This should work for dungeoneering too, a hitching post near banker.
