For a long time i have been wondering why we have empty plots on a tier 7 citadel and thought it would be great to get maybe a fishing one there for the fish your cooking on the barbecue or maybe slayer to control the imps that are formed when summoning etc.....
But I would love to see a bigger citadel!

Answers to a few questions/comments:
@Captslavedvr: It's very unlikely that we'll be adding new tiers to citadels in the next few years. I understand why you want them, but it's just too expensive to consider at the moment. New plots and new citadel features may be possible, but it isn't at the top of our list right now.

Lots of people have asked for this but both new tiers and new plots would require a complete rework of the Citadel code - it itself being the largest project we have run in at least 5 years. With our current commitments resource wise this seems highly unlikely in the forseeable future.
^ those are Jmod responses on this topic. It's hard coded to only be 7 tiers and the entire citadel code would need to be rewritten to increase the maximum number of tiers.
after speaking on discord about it, it seems like moltaire isnt up for it either maybe one day this might be a thing but a lot of people has been asking for a very long time and seeing empty skill plots on tier 7 screams unfinished content, might be worth replacing it and putting all clans where they should be on the new system
I'm glad it's capped at 7 tiers. It was hard enough to achieve. And you all might've had one forever, sure, but you're forgetting so much about the 'new guy/girl' that is just starting out, or just starting clans... You're not helping the overall community by increasing difficulty of things in the game or moving the goal line further away from people. Leave it as it is, and develop and refurbish other content and game structure.

@Ignore List, that is why they need to stop using "spaghetti code" and using it as an excuse to not do updates that people request. It should have been put in place with the ability to expand it if/when needed. The game needs to continue changing or it will just be dead/outdated content.

I don't like it either believe me and if I had it my way and was in charge of RuneScape I'd allocate more money/time/resources to clans due to how much they inpact they play on the game in terms of the community/player retention etc.
The problem with spaghetti code is that the code for the clan for example was done almost 7 years ago so they did not foresee the problems that the people of today see.
In addition the clan update is a massive update if not one of the biggest Jagex have ever done so it's no small feat, even if spaghetti code wasen't a problem the the sheer amount of resources which will be needed will equally be a pain in the ass also.
