we should not discus that here lisa
Probably not, which is why I'm asking if it's okay to make an entirely new thread to discuss it.
4.
No - it is a moderation matter and not subject to public discussion. The decisions made were agreed by the whole Community team, not an individual JMod.

I know the Community team made the decision, but are they looking out for the community if they're not going to allow a fair discussion to take place about it? If what the community wants conflicts with what the Community
Team
provides, then how are they being beneficial?
I'm not looking to be disruptive. At this point, I'm more interested in having a debate about the topic than anything else.

It is not a matter that is a subject for debate - we will not enter into detailed discussion on bans issued on other people's accounts or their appeals, even if they should waive the concept of privacy, as there are elements and information we would not publish publicly.
We have a set of moderation policies in place that are also not subject to discussion. In these cases these policies are being followed and applied appropriately and have been subject to repeated checks internally.
