IF - a clan member can be checked by hopping to their world and looking in the clanchat- and if we can check their capped status on their adventure log - and soon they can quickchat it- why oh why are we still not able to just view a list of who capped and visited? The issue with this is that the data that tells whether a clan member has visited/capped at the Citadel is stored on the player, so that player needs to be available to be checked in order to read that data. This is why a clan member needs to be online and you need to be on the same world as them when checking their Citadel contribution.

Capping is stored on the player account. Player account data can not be accessed in game if the player is not on the same world as the account requesting it. It's also not updated till someone enters the citadel, so the data may well be out of date even if a list were able to be generated.
Maz's comment is from 2 years ago, but this is still the case. Hopefully, this will be possible at some point in the future though.
