Some time ago I set up a registration and clan directory thread to allow Clans to post their offsites, have them checked and for us to keep a list on the forums for Clans to refer to. As a model this has proved to be completely unsustainable and so after much discussion in CM we have had to close it down, rather than raise expectations that it might be properly maintained.

I would have preferred it was not the case, but there is just no way we can manage our current workload and maintain the directory.

Did anyone actually use the clan directory? Or know of situations where one might use it?

I'd imagine that if I wanted to contact someone, I'd got to Community > Clans (have to be logged out in order to search other clans), and find someone on Twitter who can contact the person I want to contact, if I can't do so myself.

Thanks for the announcement :) Not sure how to feel about it lol, hence my above questions

FMods cannot see posts on auto-hidden threads and there would be some other liability issues also - not really feasible sadly. Mod MattHe | Former Community Manager, now in Events & occasional Lore Monkey
