This is very much not on the Guardian's backlog - it is not the kind of thing a content team can fix at all. I have tracked back through the engine team though and thence to the graphics team who would be working on it. They are aware of the issue and are working on it. We have been raising awareness to our clans, the victims of it are a small fraction of the ones who only AFK'scape and never pay attention to the clan chat/our personal website. We have only had about 2-3 actual victims over the past 5 months or so.

The issue isnt as pressing, although it should be fixed. The victims are just another form of natural selection lol

Update: Our clan may potentially have been a target of this as I'm typing.

A random player who had recently changed their RSN from one that had been forcefully removed joined our chat a moment ago and left after a couple of seconds. Checking the alt on Runemetrics, it is very clearly an alt (Being total level 66). The fact that it recently changed its RSN implies to me that the account may be being used by someone to visit clan chats so they can impersonate clanmates on a higher level account. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape
