At some point in the next few months the avatar system re-work will make orts defunct. When this happens there's 2 options.

1: remove orts from the game.

2: come up with a new use for orts.

I'm curious as to what you guys would prefer, and if you have anything that you think orts could be used for post avatar.

Mod Balance commented on reddit saying that he believes Citadel boosters (boosters available on solomans store that enable you to cap in half the time) should be obtainable in-game.

I think Orts would be a way to make this happen. could equate it to if you gather orts each day for a month, (or a set amount) you're able to trade them for 1 cit booster, meaning 1/4 weeks you're able to cap faster.

I'm unsure if with a booster you get the same xp overall then if you didn't. If not the booster should give the same XP (as long as it's removed from solomans), which would encourage members to cap, even if it is once a month.

I'm with either, if orts can be used for a better use then that's fine.

If it's not feasible and removal of orts is the better option while better buffs/benefits are made at a later period of time then I'm all for that as well.

I prefer option 1 personally but yea its fair for it to be transferred into something useful and though I have only used 4 citadel boosters, I loved them.

I don't really care what happens to them, only thing that mattered to me was that I had 300 to pay for the buffs. I don't share the sentiment that just because I and a lot of others have thousands of them that they should necessarily do something with them.

I really do wish they would do something to make citadel boosters more obtainable. I want to know who ever approved of their pricing and target audience (rich players who want to cap quickly) and give them a not so nice look :P

I don't feel the need for citadel boosters tbh, I'm all for doing the hard yards.

But I wouldn't mind seeing the buff improvements,

Although i'd love to see a faster way of capping, I'm not an ort fan. I have them turned off most of the time but have to keep turning them back on to collect the bare minimum to pay ava for a week, just waiting for ava rework.
I wouldn't mind if they auto collected but since I have to manually pick them up I get a little ocd about leaving any lay on the ground.
