I'm well aware that vexs and other items can break bots but I'm paying to play the game, not to spend my time trying to be part of the bot police. If I'm working, I should be on the payroll. =P

for sharing your stories, and for speaking up. That means a lot.

As someone who likes to chat in all forms of chat, and especially post on the forums (guys, look at my post count!! *brings attention to it lol*)--I'm hearing more and more about people who simply prefer not to chat that much, or even about people who lurk but who are too afraid to post , for fear of being shot down.

I can't empathize with/genuinely understand people who don't chat while playing, but I can try to sympathize/be respectful toward their unfamiliar situation.

In the case of suspected botting, my stance on it still stands: As

mentioned as well, as players, even if you're a pmod, you're not in a position to nor do you have the tools to determine whether someone is actually botting. The most respectable thing to do is clarify how it's against the rules, just in case there are some who are misled into believing you can easily get away with it, and to submit a bot report for Jagex to pursue if there's suspicion enough.

Yup, especially effective at seren stones, will make them walk off and stand into a corner.

LOL. This reminds me of school when a student had been naughty and they had to go stand in the corner. :)

When a Clanmate is ignoring me, I just grab my Easter carrot and whack them anywhere between 20 to 100 times. If they don't say anything, I assume they're botting. My attempts at bot detection using this method have been unsuccessful so far; but the experiment has resulted in a 99% success rate at grabbing Clanmates' attention. More testing is required.

That being said, I know everything that happens in my Clan because people from inside and outside of the Clan always tell me. :P

As a clan I don't seem the need for us to be doing anything for bot detection. Jagex anti-botting systems should be good enough to detect any behaviour.

As a clan, Consentus will not allow anyone to rejoin who has been previously caught and banned for botting.

Have had a couple of bots in Clan recently, both reported by outsiders. Was very easy to double check - 20 minutes of pinching their spiritual warrior kills and having them standing doing nothing cause they had no target in gdw = bot.

I am currently investigating one I think is botting with an Avatar !!!!!! - just need to work out where exactly - they still have avatar access cause with pm off and out of cc tracking the avatar is only way I will find.

Not our job to find bots I agree but it is a very bad look for the Clan, and since even if reported nothing happens for months - then I feel I have to do something.
