It was part of the EOC rework and to do with model clipping as I understand it - I have raised it before, on behalf of the RP community who want the stance changed for certain weapon sets. It is not something we intend to change currently.

I completely understand that it would take too much effort and have no problem with that, but just curious... substantial reworks of what exactly? Isn't it just one item on the adventurer "model"? Or does it have to do with other long weapons that are held similarly or is the vex from differently tiered clans different from one another?
It would be the "other long weapons" issue and the remodelling of everything required for that change.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know about some changes we’re making to the Clan Camp. Basically, we’re revising the layout of the camp to make it easier to navigate, and tidying up some of the NPCs’ dialogue. The scale of the changes is relatively minor, and we won’t be altering how the camp works – the main aim is to make sure new players know how to access the clan content.
Here’s a breakdown of what we’re doing:
* Moving Armadyl’s tower to the south-east.
* Making the camp a little bit smaller, and revising the layout.
* Making the meeting tent slightly smaller.
* Reorganising the dialogue of the Captain of the Guard, Sergeant at Arms, and Scribe so the services they offer can be accessed more easily.
Having looked at your comments it seems some of you are in favour of a comprehensive rework of the camp, but unfortunately that’s outside the scope of this project, as our resource budget is relatively limited. We may be able to make further improvements in the future, though, so don’t despair if the feature you wanted doesn’t make it to the game.
A few people suggested moving the camp to Burthorpe, and I can understand the thinking behind that, but unfortunately it would have involved too much environmental modelling work for it to be a feasible option.

We'll not be putting a Clan Camp in Elf City - we have discussed what Clan features to include in the city and the decision was that given the broad range of players involved and requirements of accessibility for Clans that it would be problematic to include such. Instead we have included a clan portal in the city, as part of the connection system it will provide.

Unfortunately free text entry of any kind needs systems to support the ability to report the text incase it is offensive. This requires engine, web and content work, as well as a team to monitor it. Therefore a voting system with free text entry is unlikely to happen. You do have the voting box in the clan meeting tent as someone mentioned tho.
