Is there something the resources might go toward since having both the upkeep be low and capping for fealty to get full xp buff once avatar rework is out will most likely contribute to increase of excess resources for clans that have already started hitting max upgrades and tiers in their citadels?

Oh, I thought only the storehouse was getting its upkeep cost reduced because the buildings were already fairly low by comparison to the current numbers, but I'm not complaining. :)

Some clans have been maintaining maxed T7 Citadels for years. Surely upkeep is a burden by that point, especially for people who feel forced to cap to ensure their clans meet upkeep.

Okay question, why make Citadels even more pointless? Can we have something that gives people incentive to rank up and stay in their clan instead? There is a ranking system for a reason and with the new Avatar rework allowing anyone to have the avatar, there will be no reason to join a clan that requires Admin for avatar when this other clan lets you have it at Recruit, especially when there's no other reason to rank up.

Because they are old content, that many clans struggle to maintain. Clan's should not be defined by their citadel, clans were out a long time before the citadel update.

Change your ranking structure, avatar is just an optional pet, I don't see myself having it out as it's not an override. The benefit to people doing a fealty cap is that they will gain an extra 3% xp per week.

(the bonus xp is being removed from avatars and will be a perm buff for the week that you activate via the avatar stone)
