Attention to all fellow clan leaders! We do need your help with the nominations of a representative to visit Jagex HQ or possibly have a Skype Chat about the evolution and progress of the clan community as a whole. With the Runefest poll looking very bleak, something must be done to get clans back as the main focus.
We have been speaking on Discord about how to get their attention, and it's quite simple. Send a representative to Jagex to represent the Clan Leader Forum (CLF) as a whole to discuss the future and importance of these updates.
How are we going to be picking this "representative"? Through parliamentary procedure.
How does it work? This thread is open for nominations on who you think should be negotiating with Jagex on behalf of our community. The rules are as follows:
You can nominate someone to be placed on the ballot.
- You can not nominate yourself.
- You can not nominate someone from your clan.
- You can only nominate one person
- This person must have CLF access.
Once a person is nominated, there must be a secondary nomination, as presented in the example below.
GeeOh: "I nominate Pikachu"
Lisaa: "I second"
All nominated candidates will be messaged by the proctors. (Andras or myself) This is just to check if they accept the nomination.
Once accepted, they will be put on the ballot. The winner of the election, which will be held on the CLF at a date in the near future. The winner must achieve 2/3 (67%) of the vote to be chosen as the representative. If there is a list of 5 candidates & none have achieved the 67%, the person with least amount of votes will be eliminated and there will be another vote. This will continue til one person achieves 67% or if it's down to 2 candidates & then it will be majority vote at that point.
