From what I can tell, they already use the same colour selection interface... Did you mean you wish they'd put in a colour code for BOTH (Hex [Preferably], Binary, etc.)?

Either way, this would be extrodinarily useful.

Plus, I wish they'd add this feature to 'recolourable' objects, but -

Do you mean the way they're 'inverted'? I believe that's intentional by design. Awkward? Possibly, depending what you chose. Nah, personally, I like'm. So does our clan. :)

Might I suggest trying out some other options?

It's not that I hate the design (although I do) the only option to build a grand version of something like flags makes the pole head and base look spectacular but makes the actual flag look incredibly awkward. And changing our clan colors that we've had since the dawn of clans wouldn't be that great of an idea.

Edit: I checked out your citadel, your clan's secondary and symbol colors aren't the same so the problem with the flags (you have purple and pink symbols on a white background) doesn't really cause the weird graphics on your clan flags. But for clans with a color consistency it does.

Phoenix Legends. And it's not just my clan, any clan that has their vex trim the same color as their symbols has this problem with their clan flags if they upgrade them to grand. It also affects a few other thing in the citadel like the shields and the podiums but theres nothing you can do about that really

Your issue indeed is mostly because clans like yours use the same colour as the trim as on the logos, as you said. So, why not just change the colour instead of griping at JAGeX about it? I'd suggest a nice (dark/burnt) orange trim with your clan's motif. The yellow logos would pop more. Or perhaps black? I'm really not trying to be rude, but it doesn't seem like this is a fault of JAGeX. There are literally hundreds of possible colour variations that could be used if you simply don't like the effect it causes. Clan:

We have thought about changing our colors but really we keep it just because of tradtion, our clan has had that color since day 1 and it looks good on everything else. It's okay if you don't ass it to the wishlist as its a complicated matter but the thing that bugs me and other clans with the similar problem is that the only option for a grand flag design is the one that looks this way while there are two options for clan banners. The whole thing kinda sucks and we will probably end up downgrading our flags one of these days.

So, maybe just add a few more variations to satisfy the few clans that are 'SOL'? Im sure they could whip up a few, if they wanted to in their 'spare time'. I'll try to squeeze it in someplace.
