I'm quite livid, so I'll repost this.

It really shocks me how popular it is, while many other important threads are desolate of any contribution.

I don't really get that at all. I'll post on it once or twice in half a year maybe, but there are what - nearly half a dozen people or more posting on it extremely often and... nothing else?

If it were up to me, it would just be left to forum games or some other section. At this point it's just people farming their post count and taking away from potential discussion on CLF.

This is a very unpopular opinion and more than likely, nothing at all will get done about the unimportant count-to thread. Sad.

About the added Jmod activity "benefit" some are defending it with, you can't fool me. I've been here before and after the thread, Matthe and Maz have always been active and interactive on CLF - it's one of the reasons I'm still here.
"Why are you posting threads, asking questions and making discussion???"

I will not be stickying the count thread - while it is a little bit of fun it is not something that I could possibly justify a sticky for in this section. And while this area of the forum is not high traffic keeping a single game thread bouncing on around the front page does not significantly damage the amount of discussion that occurs or make the existing discussions harder to find.

I quite enjoy it personally as it is a silly touch point every so often and without a "Jmod visited this section" highlight built into the forums it does remind you we do visit, but I would be happy to consider polling the CLF as to whether they want it to continue and allow a simple majority to set the policy.

Sorry to be that guy but it annoys me seeing this thread every time I get on CLF. I don't think it belongs in this area of the forum. I'd rather see us focus on discussions regarding wished for clan content, shared events, clan issues, leadership styles etc. Part of the

Okay, clearly some people want the thread not to exist - I'll poll and see what the results show. Mod MattHe | Former Community Manager, now in Events & occasional Lore Monkey

Clan leaders held in such regard as to be given access to their own private forums by the game developers have nothing better to do than to ruffle their jimmies over a single thread? Is it because it's a fun thread and that ruins the image of a serious "get things done" environment you've always envisioned the CLF to be?

Sorry, I don't see the need for the thread. While I can understand it creates activity, the posts in it aren't of any worth.
