An event that I've hosted with our clan quite a while back which was really fun and exciting is a game called Zombie Infection. I didn't come up the with the idea for the game myself so I can't take credit; I originally got the idea from a community live stream with Mod Lee where he played this game. This is also a game that I've seen played IRL, and it's sort of similar to hide and seek + tag.
When I hosted the event with our clan, we played inside the citadel, which of course was clan-fitting, but also helpful because of the limited boundaries.

• All players start out with no gear or items except for a full zombie outfit - the one from the old gravedigger random event. If anybody doesn't have the outfit from back then, it can be purchased from the clothes shop in Varrock for 5,000 coins.
• One player starts off as the "infected" and wears their full zombie outfit. All other players wear nothing, keeping the zombie outfit in their inventory.
• The starting infected player stays put while all other players (zombie outfits in inventory) scatter out to hide or find a safe place, etc.
• After some amount of time, the infected player sets out to find the other players. The citadel makes an excellent spot for this game because it's big, but not too big that it makes the game slow and boring.
• The infected player's goal is to infect the other players. A player becomes infected when the infected player is able to send them a trade offer . This is something that can be seen by both players in the chat box, and it's a clear indication of when the infected player is able to "tag" someone if they're chasing and running for a while. Now, that player is also infected and he/she puts on their zombie outfit to join the hunt.
• The game ends when there's only one player left uninfected. That player is the winner, and also starts the next round as the "infected". It can go on for however many rounds!

We often do non-RS events as well: (clicking links is at your own risk, you might get addicted
) Most of them can be done while playing RS, perfect for afking in the Citadel.

Fun to play with groups and in tournaments within your clan or against members from other clans.

Full description: Multiplayer sketch game, one has to sketch a word and the others have to guess what it is to gain points. You can pick a worldlist, there's a RuneScape one as well. http://www.isketch.net/

^ We've had fun in the past with our clan playing iSketch and Cards against Humanity.
I don't think we've ever played TagPro though, so we might have to try that one out!

Treasure Hunt
-Using the treasure chest from Carnillean's Rising I will put an item in the chest and bury it somewhere within Runescape. The rules for that is it can't be in a dangerous place, quest place, or skill place. The great thing with this event is that it's all on the ground level. Now this event isn't something I actually came up with, rather it was an event that I was involved in, in a previous clan and people seemed to really enjoy it so I've started doing it myself.
Hide&Seek
-except instead of whoever is the last person to find the hider becoming the hider, it's just one hider while the rest seek. Cash prizes of 1.5m, 1m, and 500k. At the end we usually give everyone 1m as well for showing, as a way to say thanks for coming. Again another event that I didn't actually come up with, and I know a lot of clans have their own version of Hide and Seek.
Tour de Bosses
-So I used to be in this clan where we would go fight dragons without any armour, I can't remember what it was called, however this event was kind of inspired by it. We all gather together going and doing bosses like Mole, KBD, Kalphite King, Kalphite Queen, in fun armours that don't really give you bonuses and then we all gather together in bronze to take on Vorago. We all usually die pretty fast, but it's fun.

We have done riddle events in the past. proven to be pretty successful and fun. The host will hide in locations with setting so people cant join/trail. They will say a riddle for the location they are at.
